Global Geophysical Services, Inc. (NYSE: GGS) 31.2% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.05, versus expectations calling for a loss of $0.09 per share.

Federal-Mogul Corp. (Nasdaq: FDML) 27.5% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.34), $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.30). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.74 billion.

ITT sad new student enrollment in the first quarter of 2013 decreased 3.6% to 17,412 compared to 18,067 in the same period in 2012. Total student enrollment decreased 14.2% to 61,039 as of March 31, 2013 compared to 71,123 as of March 31, 2012.

Exide Technologies (Nasdaq: XIDE) 23.9% LOWER; Maxim Group downgraded Exide from Buy to Hold with a price target of $5.50 (unchanged).

Stamps.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: STMP) 23.5% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.57, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $32.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $30.39 million. Sees FY2013 EPS of $1.95-$2.15, versus prior guidance of $1.75-$1.95 and the consensus of $1.85. Also sees FY2013 revenue of $125-$135 million, versus prior guidance of $120-$130 million and the consensus of $125.3 million.

Charles River Associates (Nasdaq: CRAI) 19.4% LOWER; reported Q1 revs of $63.1 million and non-GAAP EPS of $0.31. The Street expected revs of $66.7 million and EPS of $0.31.

Safeway, Inc. (NYSE: SWY) 18.4% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.35, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $10 billion versus the consensus estimate of $10.14 billion. Identical-store sales increased 1.5% (excluding fuel), which was positively impacted by a calendar shift* of 0.4% and negatively impacted by a shift to generic drugs of 0.9%.

Carbo Ceramics, Inc. (NYSE: CRR) 16.0% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.76, $0.13 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.89. Revenue for the quarter came in at $147.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $155.6 million.

Mellanox Technologies, Ltd. (Nasdaq: MLNX) 13.0% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.10, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $83.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $80.77 million. Total cash and investments decreased by $23.4 million to $402.9 million at March 31, 2013 compared to $426.3 million at December 31, 2012.
