OptimumBank Holdings (Nasdaq: OPHC) 29.3% LOWER; traders in this recent momo stock are taking profits Thursday following a whopping 152 percent surge yesterday. Volume remains very heavy today.
NewLead Holdings (Nasdaq: NEWL) 19.5% LOWER; profit taking following a 22 percent surge on Monday, and 78 percent moves higher on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
MIPS Technologies (Nasdaq: MIPS) 19.2% HIGHER; have surged sharply in afternoon trade Thursday as Bloomberg is reporting the company has hired Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) to find a strategic buyer.
Avid Technology (Nasdaq: AVID) 16.2% LOWER; cuts Q1 outlook: sales of about $152 million and an adjusted operating loss of about $8 million. The Street is currently expecting Q1 sales of $161.08 million and a per share gain of 3 cents.
Fusion-IO (NYSE: FIO) 12.3% HIGHER; traders likely buying today following an earlier Piper Jaffray note which speculates the company is working on a new OEM deal with Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO).
NetQin Mobile (NYSE: NQ) 12.1% HIGHER; shares pushing back over $10 level today following a 7.5 percent jump yesterday.
Central European Distribution (Nasdaq: CEDC) 11.6% HIGHER; Moving higher with a stronger push above the $4.50 price level. Shares might also be moving an new that bank lending in China at $160 billion in March beat views. News out of Europe also has Ireland not expecting to need another bailout.

(NYSE: MBI) 11.4% HIGHER; company disclosed: Subsidiaries, MBIA Insurance Corporation, National Public Finance Guarantee Holdings, Inc., and National Public Finance Guarantee Corporation, have entered into a settlement agreement, which among other things includes mutual releases, with respect to the action styled Aurelius Capital Master Ltd., et al. v. MBIA Inc., et al, No. 09 Civ. 2242 (RJS) (S.D.N.Y.) brought by Aurelius Capital Master, Ltd.
Cytec Industries (NYSE: CYT) 11.1% HIGHER; Cytec UK Holdings Ltd., a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales which is indirectly wholly-owned by Cytec Industries Inc., issued an announcement pursuant to Rule 2.7 of the United Kingdom City Code on Takeovers and Mergers disclosing that Cytec UK and the Board of Umeco plc, a public limited company incorporated in England and Wales had agreed on the terms of a recommended cash offer of 550 pence per share to be made by Cytec UK for the acquisition of the entire issued and to be issued share capital of Umeco.
Galectin Therapeutics (Nasdaq: GALT) 9.7% LOWER; after a late-day move above the $3.50 level yesterday, the stock gapped lower just above that level this morning but downside intensified as the price pushed below and held below this support level. Shares seem to have settled around $3.25.
iBio (AMEX: IBIO) 9.7% LOWER; shares are down more than 21 percent since breaking below the 200-day SMA Tuesday afternoon.
