Real Goods Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: RSOL) 81.3% HIGHER; has been selected by a leading production homebuilder to deploy solar in certain of its new communities, beginning in California and with an eye towards broader deployment to other solar friendly states.

Recon Technology, Ltd. (Nasdaq: RCON) 29.4% HIGHER; reported Q213 EPS of $0.21, from $0.06 in the prior year.

Proto Labs, Inc. (NYSE: PRLB) 27.9% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.31, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $33.62 million versus the consensus estimate of $32.66 million.

RPX (Nasdaq: RPXC) 22.5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.24, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $51.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $49.02 million. Sees FY2013 revenue of $60.0-60.5 million, versus the consensus of $51.45 million. MPG Office Trust, Inc. (NYSE: MPG) 22.4% LOWER; amid recent volatility, the company said its policy was not to comment in unsual activity.

Learning Tree International, Inc. (Nasdaq: LTRE) 21.0% LOWER; the company's Board of Directors received a letter from Dr. Collins, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, withdrawing his offer to purchase all of the outstanding shares of the Company. Dr. Collins has indicated to the Special Committee that he believes that the Company's focus at this time should be on its operations in light of the current business environment and that he does not support the Company pursuing a sale process. The Company's second largest stockholder has indicated to the Committee that he is supportive of Dr. Collins' view not to pursue a sale process. In light of the foregoing, the Committee has concluded that a sale of the Company is not feasible at this time and should not be pursued.

Cliffs Natural Resources Inc. (NYSE: CLF) 19.1% LOWER; announced that it is offering to sell, subject to market and other conditions, 9,000,000 of its common shares, par value $0.125 per share (or up to 10,350,000 Common Shares if the underwriters of such offering exercise their option to purchase additional Common Shares), and 20,000,000 of its depositary shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a share of its new mandatory convertible preferred stock, Class A, $1,000 liquidation preference per Mandatory Convertible Preferred Share (equivalent to $25 per Depositary Share) (or up to 23,000,000 Depositary Shares if the underwriters of such offering exercise their over-allotment option in full) in separate registered public offerings.

Bankrate (NYSE: RATE) 18.7% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.06, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $93.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $106.27 million.
