Superconductor Technologies (Nasdaq: SCON) 36.1% HIGHER; continuing higher today following news yesterday that they have successfully produced second generation (2G) HTS wire samples that meet requirements specified by customers for HTS AC power cable, superconducting fault current limiter and HTS wind turbine applications. The stock jumped 32% yesterday.
Zanett (Nasdaq: ZANE) 34.8% HIGHER; announced that they will be implementing its Clinical Online Delivery System software for Parkview Health to support standardized, evidence-based order sets at the point of care, arming their doctors and clinicians with critical information to improve medication safety and patient care.
Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX: MCZ) 31.7% HIGHER; and Micrsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) announced that they have entered an agreement allowing MCZ to produce a range of licensed, co-branded audio headphones under Mad Catz’s Tritton brand and Microsoft’s Xbox 360 brand. The stock pushed over $1 today.
NaviSite (Nasdaq: NAVI) 31.6% HIGHER; Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) to acquire NaviSite for $5.50/share in cash, deal valued at $230 million.
Axcelis Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: ACLS) 23.0% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.04, one cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $93.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $89.31 million.
Ballard Power Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: BLDP) 20.8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.04), $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.09). Revenue for the quarter came in at $21.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $20.02 million.
Key Tronic Corp. (Nasdaq: KTCC) 19.7% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.17, versus $0.17 reported for the same period a year ago. Revenue for the quarter was $61 million, compared to $44.8 million in Q210. KTCC sees Q311 EPS of $0.05 - $0.10. Key Tronic Corp. sees Q311 revenue of $60 - $62 million. KTCC sees FY11 EPS of $0.55 - $0.60. The company also sees FY2011 revenue of $250 - $260 million.
Chelsea Therapeutics International, Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHTP) 19.4% LOWER; announces plans to modify Study 306, a Phase III study of NORTHERA (droxidopa) in symptomatic neurogenic orthostatic hypotension associated with Parkinson's disease following a futility determination at the planned interim analysis of the study's primary endpoint and an unblinded review of multiple, secondary outcome measures showing dramatic reduction in falls and clear signs of therapeutic activity associated with Northera in the first 51 patients to complete Study 306.

Borders Group, Inc. (NYSE: BGP) 17.7% LOWER; headlines yesterday reported the Borders could file for bankruptcy as soon as next week. The second-largest bookstore retail chain in the U.S. will likely lose at least 150 stores, according to one of the sources.
Genworth Financial Inc. (NYSE: GNW) 11.5% LOWER; reported Q4 loss of $0.28, 45 cents worse than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.59 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.54 billion.
