Chemring has agreed to acquire The Allied Defense Group in an all-cash transaction valued at $7.25 per share, a premium of 54% over the closing price on January 15, 2010. The close of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory filing periods and shareholder approval, is expected within 90 days.
Hanmi Financial (Nasdaq: HAFC) 37.5% HIGHER; technicians may be buying the stock today as it appears it have held above the important $1 support level last week. The stock is trading on extremely heavy volume today.
Stratasys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SSYS) 37.3% HIGHER; today announced it has signed a definitive agreement with HP (NYSE: HPQ) for Stratasys to manufacture an HP-branded 3D printer. Used by product designers and architects, Stratasys 3D printers create three-dimensional plastic models directly from 3D digital designs. SkyPeople Fruit Juice, Inc. (AMEX: SPU) 25% HIGHER; sees FY09 sales of $58-$60 million and net income of $15-$16 million. For FY10, sales are expected to be $92-$102 million on net income of $19-$21 million.
