Hauppauge Digital, Inc. (Nasdaq: HAUP) 37.1% HIGHER; announced several products today: a new Colossus internal PCI Express board capable of recording component video and unencrypted HDMI video at up to 1080i from sources such as the Xbox360 and digital SLR cameras, a new live TV streamer for the Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, and the launch of its latest digital TV receiver, the WinTV-Aero-m. Volume is heavy today as well.

Independent Bank Corp. (Nasdaq: IBCP) 32.1% HIGHER; President and CEO Michael Magee exercised an option for 1.04 million phantom shares. According to the filing, "This was a complete plan dissolution and an "in-kind" distribution was not permitted so the investment had to be liquidated." The amount reflects a10-for-1 reverse splint allocated August 31, 2010.

Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: LXRX) 29% HIGHER; announces positive data for LX4211 and that they are planning on moving the study to Phase II.

NMT Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: NMTI) 27.2% HIGHER; announced that they have entered into a $2 million credit agreement. The agreement was entered into with LSQ Funding Group.

Angiotech Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: ANPI) 27.2% LOWER; announced that their shares will be delisted from The Nasdaq Stock Market with the commencement of trading on January 13, 2011.

First BanCorp (NYSE: FBP) 24.8% LOWER; announces that a one-for-fifteen reverse stock split will be effective as of 12:01 am January 7, 2011.

eDiets.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: DIET) 18.3% LOWER; announced that they have received a NASDAQ Staff Determination indicating that the Company did not regain compliance with the $1.00 minimum bid price requirement set forth in NASDAQ Listing Rule 5550(a)(2). As a result, the Company's common stock is subject to delisting unless the Company requests a hearing before a NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel.

DayStar Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: DSTI) 16.6% HIGHER; a notable midday move here, though no news has been tied to it yet. Took off above the $1.55 mark today, and has been strong above the $1.75 price level as of late.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (NYSE: VRX) 15.0% HIGHER; sees Q410 revs of $510 - $520 million and an EPS of $0.44 - $0.48. Also sees FY11 revs of $2.1 - $2.3 billion and an EPS of $2.25 - $2.50.

Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (Nasdaq: PSUN) 14.4% LOWER; reports Q410 same store sales fell 7%. Revises Q410 loss to $0.49 - $0.54 per share, versus the consensus of ($0.11).

Qiao Xing Mobile Communication Co., Ltd. (NYSE: QXM) 13.4% HIGHER; announced their Board authorized that a Scheme of Arrangement, proposed by QXM's parent company, Qiao Xing Universal Resources, Inc. (Nasdaq: XING), pursuant to which XING would acquire all of the outstanding ordinary shares of QXM other than those shares held by XING in exchange for 1.9 shares of XING's common stock plus US$0.80 in cash for each Minority Share, be put forward by the Company to the holders of the Minority Shares for their consideration.

Wet Seal Inc. (Nasdaq: WTSLA) 11.8% LOWER; reports total sales for the month of December were $79.4 million, up 4.8% from the same period last year. Same store sales fell 2.1%.
