China Technology Development Group Corp. (Nasdaq: CTDC) 60% HIGHER; is seeing substantially higher trading volume today: more than 4 million trades by 2 pm, versus about 384,000 average daily volume. No recent news has been released about the Company, so today's move could be attributed to technical factors.

Immtech Pharmaceuticals (AMEX: IMM) 48.7% LOWER; today announced it has placed on hold any further progress in clinical trials on its pafuramidine (DB289) product.

China Sunergy (Nasdaq: CSUN) 31% HIGHER; getting pushed higher today possibly as a result of rising crude oil prices.

MRV Communications (Nasdaq: MRVC) 20.4% HIGHER; benefiting from an IPO filing by one of the Company's subsidiary's, Source Photonics.

Akeena Solar (Nasdaq: AKNS) 18% HIGHER; up with much of the solar sub-sector today.

DayStar Technologies (Nasdaq: DSTI) 17% HIGHER; benefiting from a rise in crude oil prices by more than $2.

W Holding Company (NYSE: WHI) 13.2% LOWER; is not falling for any obvious reasons. WHI has recently been extremely volatile.

Pharmacyclics (Nasdaq: PCYC) 9.2% LOWER; continues to decline after the Company received a non-approvable letter from the FDA for the company's new drug application (NDA) for Xcytrin Injection for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer patients with brain metastases. The stock fell about 25% on Monday as a result of the FDA news.

Enstar Group (Nasdaq: ESGR) 6.3% LOWER; has already traded about 9 times more than on an average trading day for the stock, but has not released any news today.

Big Lots (NYSE: BIG) 6% LOWER; opened at about the same price as Monday's close, however, shares of Big Lots have gradually sold off in today's trading session.
