• Ciena (Nasdaq: CIEN) down 18.8 percent to $13.58.

S&P 500:

• GameStop (NYSE: GME) up 3.0 percent to $19.17.
  
  
• First Solar (Nasdaq: FSLR) down 18.4 percent to $19.73.

Dow Jones Industrials:

• Merck (NYSE: MRK) up 0.3 percent to $43.17.
  
  
• Caterpillar (NYSE: CAT) down 1.7 percent to $84.62.

The S&P 500 is down 9.9 points, Nasdaq off 31.1 points, and DJIA down 95.9 points.
