Interactive Systems Worldwide (NASDAQ: ISWI) 55% HIGHER; Through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Interactive Gaming Limited (GIG), has launched an enhanced in-run live betting product with Sportingbet Plc, the online sports betting and gaming group. GIG is providing software and services to allow Sportingbet to offer timely, play-by-play betting throughout the course of a sporting event.
GoAmerica (Nasdaq: GOAM) 40% HIGHER; announced the availability of i711 Video Relay Service (VRS), the newest member of the i711.com(TM) family of relay services. i711 VRS enables people who are Deaf to use sign language to communicate with hearing people using a Windows computer, a web camera, and a broadband Internet connection.
Docucorp Int'l (Nasdaq: DOCC) 30.3% HIGHER; Entered into a definitive agreement, under which Skywire Software will acquire all of Docucorp's outstanding shares for $10.00 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $127 million.
Directed Electronics (Nasdaq: DEIX) 14.7% LOWER; Company is revising its guidance for 2006 to reflect lower than anticipated sales of satellite radio receivers. Directed's sales are now projected to be in the range of $430 - $440 million compared to previously issued guidance of $440 - $460 million. Pro forma net income per diluted share is now expected to be in the range of $1.04 - $1.08, compared to the Company's earlier guidance of $1.09 - $1.13 per diluted share.
SIRVA, Inc. (NYSE: SIR) 14.25% LOWER; Company lowered its earnings guidance for 2006 due primarily to higher inventory costs within its Global Relocation business. The Company now expects EBITDA from continuing operations to be in the range of $45 million to $55 million, as compared to the guidance previously given of $65 million to $80 million.
Biovail Corporation (NYSE: BVF) 12.9% HIGHER; Has adopted a new dividend policy that contemplates the payment of an annual dividend of $1.50 per common share (paid quarterly in increments of $0.375 per common share subject to Board approval), a 200% increase relative to the Company's former policy. Biovail is providing overall revenue guidance for 2007 of $800 million to $850 million; diluted earnings per share (EPS) guidance of $1.70 to $1.80; and cash flow from operations guidance of $320 million to $340 million, or $2.00 to $2.12 per share. Current FY07 revenue consensus is $837.86 million and EPS consensus is $1.61.
Inspire Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ISPH) 12.5% HIGHER; Stock moved up 6% yesterday after announcing the initiation of a Phase 2 clinical trial to evaluate epinastine nasal spray for the treatment of seasonal allergic rhinitis. However, there are no specific news released this morning.
International Coal Group (NYSE: ICO) 12% HIGHER; Stock trading higher as chatter gets louder around the rumor-mill.
Cerus Corp (NASDAQ: CERS) 9.7% LOWER; Announced that it has entered into agreements with selected institutional investors for the purchase of up to 3,903,952 shares of its common stock at a purchase price of $6.68 per share. The net offering proceeds to Cerus are expected to be approximately $24.3 million after deducting placement agency fees and estimated offering expenses.
Blyth (NYSE: BTH) 7.7% LOWER; Reports Q3 EPS of $0.13 (ex-items) vs. consensus of $0.33. Revenues were $297.9 million vs. $316.30 million consensus.
Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD) 5.8% HIGHER; Jim Cramer makes positive comments. Separately, the drug store sector/industry is up 1.77% today.
