Syntax-Brillian (Nasdaq: BRLC) 30.7% LOWER; Reports Q4 EPS of $0.11, versus the consensus of $0.12. Revenues came in at $205.3 million, versus the consensus of $198.11 million. Anticipates Q1 revenue in the range of $170 million to $180 million, and gross margins in the range of 15% to 17%. The revenue consensus is $256.58 million. For FY07 the company anticipates revenue in the range of $1.0 billion to $1.1 billion, and gross margins in the range of 16% to 18%. The revenue consensus is $1.27 billion. CFO Wayne Pratt also resigned. Merrill Lynch and Canaccord Adams downgrade the stock this morning.

Genta Incorporated (Nasdaq: GNTA) 23.75% HIGHER; Announced that new clinical data from the Company\'s programs for Genasense(R) (oblimersen) in melanoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) will be featured in presentations at the 14th European Cancer Conference, ECCO 14.

Magna Entertainment Corp. (NASDAQ: MECA) 17.2% HIGHER; MI Developments Inc. (NYSE: MIM) has agreed to provide a short-term bridge loan to Magna Entertainment of up to US$80 million. The bridge loan, together with a US$20 million private placement of MEC Class A Subordinate Voting Stock to Fair Enterprise Limited, will provide immediate funding to support the debt elimination plan announced today by MEC.

SteelCloud, Inc. (Nasdaq: SCLD) 13.5% HIGHER; Has received a multi-year appliance server contract from a leading international networking software company. The 2-year engagement is valued at $3 to $6 million and calls for SteelCloud to deliver the server units along with program management, engineering services, configuration management, logistics support, and vendor branding.

Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE: ALU) 10.2% LOWER; Revised its full year 2007 revenue outlook. Alcatel-Lucent now expects its full year 2007 revenue growth to be flat to slightly up at a constant Euro/USD exchange rate. Alcatel-Lucent had previously estimated that its revenue would grow in the mid single digits at a constant rate.

Select Comfort (Nasdaq: SCSS) 8.2% LOWER; said, "We are currently on track to achieve the low-end of our full year sales and earnings targets. However, sales improvements are not likely to be sufficient to achieve the current third quarter consensus estimate of $0.27 per diluted share."

SiRF Technology (NASDAQ: SIRF) 7.8% HIGHER; Oppenheimer has has positive comments on SiRF Technology as the co\'s CFO Geoff Ribar and Corporate controller Dennis Bencala were present at the firm\'s bus tour.

Blockbuster Inc (NYSE: BBI) 7.3% HIGHER; Citi analyst reiterates a Buy rating and raises price target from $7.25 to $8. Separately, last night, BBI\'s CFO announces his retirement at the end of the month.

Countrywide Financial Corp (NYSE: CFC) 6.2% HIGHER; Company lines up an additional $12 billion in secured borrowing capacity through new or existing credit facility.

General Motors Corp (NYSE: GM) 5.75% HIGHER; Positive chatter on UAW health care negotiations. Citi Starts GM at Buy.

McDonald\'s (NYSE: MCD) 5.2% HIGHER; Board of Directors declared an annual cash dividend of $1.50 per share payable on December 3, 2007 to shareholders of record as of November 15, 2007. This is 50% higher than the Company\'s 2006 dividend of $1.00 per share.
