Advocat Inc. (NASDAQ: AVCA) 27% LOWER; Reports Q4 EPS of $0.37, 6 cents worse than estimates. Revenues were $55.8 million vs. $54.3 million consensus. Revenues for 2007 are expected to increase to a range of $221 to $228 million (Consensus is $225.37 million) Sees FY07 EPS between loss of $0.08 and profit of $0.01 vs. consensus of $2.13.

Gulf Island Fabrication, Inc. (NASDAQ: GIFI) 24.2% LOWER; Reports Q4 EPS of $0.26 vs. consensus of $0.53. Revenues were $76.0 million compared to $41.4 million for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2005. Also, the Company discovered an error regarding the estimated revenue on the Tahiti contract, which the Company assumed when it acquired Gulf Marine Fabricators, effective January 31, 2006. The Company determined that the amount of revenue it had recognized on this contract during the first three quarters of 2006 was overstated.

Immersion Corp (Nasdaq: IMMR) 23% HIGHER; the company Sony Computer Entertainment announced the companies have agreed to conclude their patent litigation at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and have entered into a new business agreement to explore the inclusion of Immersion technology in PlayStation format products. Reports Q4 results

Methode Electronics (Nasdaq: METH) 22% HIGHER; Reports Q3 earnings of $0.13, $0.18 ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.09. Revenues came in at $105.4 million versus the consensus of $100.7 million. Sees EPS of $0.52-$0.61 versus the consensus of $0.47. Sees FY07 revs of $430-$440 million versus the consensus of $424.86 million.

Dendrite International (NASDAQ: DRTE) 21% HIGHER; CEGEDIM S.A. and Dendrite International announced a definitive merger agreement under which CEGEDIM will acquire Dendrite for $16.00 per outstanding share in cash.

AMN Healthcare Services (NYSE: AHS) 14% LOWER; Reports Q4 EPS of $0.29 (including a benefit of $0.05 due to favorable adjustments) vs. consensus of $0.23. Revenues were $283.5 million vs. $279.60 million consensus. Sees Q1 EPS between $0.21-0.23 and revenues between $282-284 million (Q1 EPS consensus is $0.26 and revenue consensus is $281.88 million). Sees FY07 EPS between $1.10-1.14 and revenues between $1.18-1.2 billion (FY EPS consensus is $1.19 and revenue consensus is $1.18 billion)

SuperGen (Nasdaq: SUPG) 10.4% HIGHER; Company highlighted in BusinessWeek Magazine

Scottish Re Group Limited (NYSE: SCT) 9.6% HIGHER; The company's shareholders approved a set of proposals relating to the investment by MassMutual Capital Partners LLC and an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management, L.P. at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders that was held today in Hamilton, Bermuda. The approval of the proposals by the shareholders represents an important step in the closing of the transaction, which after receiving regulatory approval, will result in MassMutual Capital and Cerberus each investing $300 million into the company for a total equity investment of $600 million. Upon close of the transaction, MassMutual Capital and Cerberus will have a controlling voting equity interest in the company.

Pall Corp (NYSE: PLL) reports Q2 EPS of $0.43, 10 cents better than estimates.(0.33) Revenues were $544.9 million vs. $523.42 million consensus. With these six month results and assuming a steady macroeconomic environment, we now expect to post full year earnings per share on a pro forma basis above our original guidance of $1.45 to $1.60.

Ryerson (NYSE: RYI) 6.7% HIGHER; In a 13G filing, Dan Loeb's Third Point LLC discloses a 7.5% stake in the company.

Kohl's (NYSE: KSS) 5.1% HIGHER; Reports Q4 EPS of $1.48, 5 cents better than estimates.(1.43) Revenues were $5.43 billion vs. $5.43 billion consensus. Sees FY EPS between $3.68-3.84 vs. consensus of $3.82. Sees FY Comps up 2-4%.
