Amarin Corp Plc (NASDAQ: AMRN) 21% LOWER; announced a $100 million non-equity financing and hiring Vascepa sales force. Investors are disappointed that there was no sale.

Northwest Biotherapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: NWBO) 20% LOWER; announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 3,000,000 shares of common stock, and warrants to purchase up to an aggregate 1,500,000 shares of common stock, at an offering price of $4.00 per share and $0.01 per warrant. The Warrants have a per share exercise price of $5.00, are exercisable immediately, and expire 5 years from the date of issuance.

Comtech Telecommunications (NASDAQ: CMTL) 12% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.36, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter came in at $91 million versus the consensus estimate of $92.64 million. Comtech Telecommunications sees Q2 2013 EPS of $0.10-0.12, versus the consensus of $0.34. Sees sales up 10 percent.

Einstein Noah Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: BAGL) 9% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $4.00 per share. Also, ends strategic review with no sale.

Abiomed, Inc. (Nasdaq: ABMD) 8% LOWER; announced that the FDA Circulatory System Devices Panel voted to retain Class III status for the temporary ventricular support devices within the non-roller type cardiopulmonary bypass blood pumps category, which includes Impella®. The 515i Reclassification Panel's confirmation of this category of device as Class III devices is consistent with both the current Class III classification for these device types and as recommended in the FDA's briefing documents, released on December 3, 2012.

Galena Biopharma (Nasdaq: GALE) 8% HIGHER; presented data from the completed SN-33 Trial and final results from the Phase 1/2 trials of NeuVax (nelipepimut-S or E75) at the 35th Annual CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. The event is being held December 4-8, 2012 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Geo Group, Inc. (NYSE: GEO) 6% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $5.68 per share

QR Energy, LP (NYSE: QRE) 4% LOWER; commenced an underwritten public offering of 12,000,000 common units representing limited partner interests in QRE. QR Energy intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,800,000 common units.

Focus Media Holding Ltd. (NASDAQ: FMCN) 4% LOWER; reports a lender dropped out of consortium.

Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) 3% HIGHER; positive analyst comments about comps.

Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: SWHC) 3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.24, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter came in at $136.56 million versus the consensus estimate of $134.78 million. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees Q2 2013 EPS of $0.19-0.21, versus the consensus of $0.16. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees Q2 2013 revenue of $126-131 million, versus the consensus of $125.2 million. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees FY2013 EPS of $1.00-1.05, versus prior guidance of $0.85-0.90 and the consensus of $0.91. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees FY2013 revenue of $550-560 million, versus prior guidance of $530-540 million and the consensus of $537.94 million.

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) 3% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.04, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter came in at $85.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $83.67 million.

Cooper Cos. (NYSE: COO) 2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.47, $0.08 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $396.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $397.44 million. Cooper Cos. sees FY2013 EPS of $5.70-6.00, versus the consensus of $5.84. Cooper Cos. sees FY2013 revenue of $1.565-1.625 billion, versus the consensus of $1.6 billion.

Freeport-McMoRan (NYSE: FCX) 2% HIGHER; Oracle Investment Research upgraded to Strong Buy with a price target of $60.00, saying they like the pending acquisitions.

Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) 2% HIGHER; Higher despite news the company and CEO Reed Hastings received a Wells notice from the U.S. SEC. The notice was over a regulation FD violation. The notice was related to lack of disclosure following a Facebook post that users enjoyed "nearly a billion hours per month" of Netflix.

Enbridge, Inc. (NYSE: ENB) 2% HIGHER; invests $6.2B in light oil production initiatives, raises dividend, guides in-line

Melco Crown Enter. (NASDAQ: MPEL) 2% HIGHER; JPMorgan upgraded from Neutral to Overweight with a price target of $20.00.

Aetna (NYSE: AET) 2% HIGHER; JPMorgan upgraded from Neutral to Overweight with a price target of $52.00 (from $46.00)

Esterline Technologies Corp. (NYSE: ESL) 1% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.97, $0.37 better than the analyst estimate of $1.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $530.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $523.7 million. Esterline Technologies Corp. sees Q1 2013 EPS of $0.45-0.60, which may not compare to the consensus of $1.15. Esterline Technologies Corp. sees Q1 2013 revenue of $450-480 million, versus the consensus of $497.7 million. Esterline Technologies Corp. sees FY2013 EPS of $5.45-5.80, versus the consensus of $5.54.
