Hot Topic Inc. (NASDAQ: HOTT) 30% HIGHER; Sycamore Partners will acquire Hot Topic for $14.00 per share in cash, or a total of approximately $600 million.

Himax Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: HIMX) 27% HIGHER; May have received an order from Google

Oculus Innovative Sciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: OCLS) 23% LOWER; announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 7,500,000 shares of its common stock offered at a price to the public of $0.40 per share.

NetQin Mobile (NYSE: NQ) 18% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.23, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $30 million versus the consensus estimate of $29.11 million. Sees Q1 2013 revenue of $32.8-33.3 million, versus the consensus of $29.7 million. Sees FY2013 revenue of $178-$183 million, versus prior guidance of $150-$155 million and the consensus of $153.99 million.

Ciena Corp. (NASDAQ: CIEN) 14% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.12, $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $453.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $448.27 million.

Inovio Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: INO) 13% LOWER; priced an underwritten offering of 27,377,266 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to 13,688,633 shares of common stock at a combined price to the public of $0.55 per share and related warrant for gross proceeds of $15.1 million. The warrants are exercisable at an exercise price of $.7936 per share and will expire, unless exercised, on the date that is 180 days after the fifth anniversary of the date of issuance.

Solarcity (NASDAQ: SCTY) 11% LOWER; reported Q4 loss of $1.10 per share, which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($0.44). Revenue for the quarter came in at $25.27 million versus the consensus estimate of $36.67 million.

Valuevision Media, Inc. (NASDAQ: VVTV) 11% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.23), $0.15 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.08). Revenue for the quarter came in at $177.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $161.83 million.

James River Coal Co. (NASDAQ: JRCC) 10% LOWER; reported Q4 loss of $1.59 per share, $0.18 worse than the analyst estimate of ($1.41). Revenue for the quarter came in at $214.41 million versus the consensus estimate of $244.63 million.

Petsmart, Inc. (Nasdaq: PETM) 8% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.24, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $1.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.88 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.89 billion. Comparable store sales, or sales in stores open at least a year, grew 4.6 percent. Comps in the same period last year improved 5.4 percent. Services sales rose 15 percent to $194 million, but remained flat at 10.3 percent of total revs. The company was modeling Q4 EPS of $1.24, inclusive of the extra week in the quarter. Operating cash flow rose from $575 million last year up to $696 million. Sees FY2013 EPS of $3.76 to $3.92, versus the consensus of $3.53. Sees comparable store sales growth of 2 to 4 percent. Also sees Q13 EPS of $0.92 to $0.98, versus the consensus of $0.94. Expects comps to rise 2 to 4 percent.

Semtech Corp (NASDAQ: SMTC) 8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.49, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $150.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $149.12 million.

Finisar Corp. (Nasdaq: FNSR) 8% HIGHER; up on Ciena results.

JDS Uniphase Corporation (Nasdaq: JDSU) 6% HIGHER; up on Ciena results.

MEMC Electronic Materials Inc. (NYSE: WFR) 6% HIGHER; upgraded at Goldman Sachs

DryShips, Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) 5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.15), $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.11). Revenue for the quarter came in at $328.18 million versus the consensus estimate of $294.3 million

Biolase Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOL) 5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.05, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.00. Revenue for the quarter came in at $19.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $18.03 million. Biolase Technology, Inc. sees FY2013 revenue of $68-72 million, versus the consensus of $66.48 million. Biolase Technology, Inc. sees Q1 2013 revenue of $14-15 million, versus the consensus of $14.39 million.

Mellanox Technologies (Nasdaq: MLNX) 4% HIGHER; upgraded at JMP

Angie's List, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANGI) 4% HIGHER; New Overweight rating at Piper Jaffray

Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) 3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.77, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.70. Revenue for the quarter came in at $24.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $24.01 million. Full-year net earnings for fiscal 2013 are expected to range from $2.71 to $2.79 per diluted share. This equates to the Company's long term growth rate of 8 – 11% from the adjusted fiscal 2012 earnings per diluted share of $2.52 (Table 6). Shareholder return will be further enhanced by a dividend of 2.0% to 2.5%, for a total shareholder return of approximately 10% to 13.5%.

SandRidge Energy, Inc. (NYSE: SD) 3% LOWER; downgraded to Underperform at BMO

Colgate-Palmolive Co. (NYSE: CL) 2% HIGHER; stock split, raised dividend.

Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX) 2% HIGHER; to spin-off Time Inc.

Vail Resorts, Inc. (NYSE: MTN) 2% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.65, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.70. Revenue for the quarter came in at $422.45 million versus the consensus estimate of $414.13 million. Raises dividend 11%.

FleetCor Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: FLT) 1% LOWER; announced that selling stockholders have agreed to sell 4.5 million shares of FleetCor common stock in an underwritten offering. FleetCor will not sell any shares in the offering and will not receive any proceeds from the offering.

Zumiez Inc. (Nasdaq: ZUMZ) 1% LOWER; announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended March 2, 2013 increased 10.6% to $44.5 million, compared to $40.2 million for the four-week period ended February 25, 2012. The Company's comparable store sales decreased 8.9% for the four-week period ended March 2, 2013 compared to a comparable store sales increase of 14.2% for the period ended February 25, 2012.
