AeroVironment, Inc. (NASDAQ: AVAV) 22% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.17, $0.20 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.37. Revenue for the quarter came in at $47.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $89.02 million. As of January 26, 2013, funded backlog (unfilled firm orders for which funding is currently appropriated to us under a customer contract) was $70.5 million compared to $93.2 million as of April 30, 2012. AeroVironment, Inc. sees FY2013 EPS of $0.30-0.50, versus the consensus of $1.45. AeroVironment, Inc. sees FY2013 revenue of $230-250 million, versus the consensus of $353.15 million.

Osiris Therapeutics (NASDAQ: OSIR) 17% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.08), $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.15). Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $2.91 million.

Stereotaxis, Inc. (NASDAQ: STXS) 12% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.29), $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.54). Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $12.3 million. Also announced that Michael Kaminski will step down as President and Chief Executive Officer.

Asset Acceptance Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: AACC) 11% HIGHER; agreed to be acquired by Encore Capital Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: ECPG) for $6.50 per share, which represents a total equity value of approximately $200 million, representing a 24 percent premium to AACC's 30 day volume weighted average share price.

Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PPHM) 11% HIGHER; new Buy at Piper

The Fresh Market, Inc. (NASDAQ: TFM) 11% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.43, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $369.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $380.12 million. Comparable store sales increased 1.9%. Sees FY2013 EPS of $1.51-1.58, versus the consensus of $1.68.

American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (NYSE: AEO) 9% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.55, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.12 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.12 billion. Consolidated comparable sales for the 14 weeks increased 4% over the comparable 14 week period last year. Sees Q1 2013 EPS of $0.16-0.19, versus the consensus of $0.25. EPS guidance is based on comparable store sales in the negative mid-single digit range. The board of directors authorized 20 million shares under a new share repurchase program and raised the quarterly cash dividend to $0.125 per share, a 14% increase.

Gevo, Inc. (NASDAQ: GEVO) 8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.34), $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.44). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $17.2 million

Sohu.com Inc. (NASDAQ: SOHU) 8% LOWER; denies takeover rumors in the market on Tuesday.

Big Lots, Inc. (NYSE: BIG) 7% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $2.09, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $1.98. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.75 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.75 billion. U.S. comps up 3.5 percent. Sees FY2013 EPS of $3.05-$3.25, versus the consensus of $2.90.

Harvest Natural (NYSE: HNR) 6% HIGHER; up after Hugo Chavez's death

Qihoo 360 Technology (NYSE: QIHU) 5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.22, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $103 million versus the consensus estimate of $93.68 million. Qihoo 360 Technology sees Q1 2013 revenue of $104.5-$106.5 million, versus the consensus of $92.70 million.

Westport Innovations Inc. (NASDAQ: WPRT) 5% HIGHER; positive analyst commentary at Jefferies.

Staples, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPLS) 4% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.46, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.57 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.72 billion. Comps fell 5.0 percent in Q4. Sees FY2013 EPS of $1.30-$1.35, versus the consensus of $1.38.

Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) 4% HIGHER; upgraded at Jefferies

Celldex Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLDX) 4% HIGHER; new Buy at Leerink Swann

Dean Foods Company (NYSE: DF) 3% HIGHER; upgraded at Credit Suisse

VeriFone Systems (NYSE: PAY) 3% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.51, versus the analyst estimate of $0.49. Revenue for the quarter came in at $430 million versus the consensus estimate of $431.47 million. Sees Q2 2013 EPS of $0.45 to $0.50, versus the consensus of $0.48 and revenue of $435 million to $450 million, versus the consensus of $440.35 million. The Company also sees FY2013 EPS of $1.90 to $2.10, versus the consensus of $2.11 and revenue of $1.80 billion to $1.83 billion, versus the consensus of $1.81 billion. VeriFone previously expected FY13 revs of $2.05 billion to $2.10 billion and non-GAAP EPS of $3.25 to $3.30.

MGIC Investment Corp. (NYSE: MTG) 3% HIGHER; commenced a public offering of 135 million shares of its common stock and $350 million aggregate principal amount of its convertible senior notes due 2020.

Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. (NASDAQ: SWHC) 2% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.26, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $136.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $133.68 million. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees Q4 EPS of $0.38 and $0.40, versus the consensus of $0.30. Sees Q4 sales between $165.0 million and $170.0 versus the consensus of $155.06 million. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees FY2013 EPS of $1.17-1.19, versus the consensus of $1.06. Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. sees FY2013 revenue of $575-580 million, versus the consensus of $561.34 million. The company sees income from continuing operations of between $78.0 million and $79.5 million, and non-GAAP Adjusted EBITDAS from continuing operations of between $148.4 million and $150.7 million.
