NuVasive, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUVA) 13% HIGHER; announced preliminary unaudited revenue results for the full year ended December 31, 2012. NuVasive anticipates full year 2012 revenue of approximately $619 million. The unaudited results compare to previously issued guidance of $601 million to $606 million in revenue for the full year 2012. NuVasive expects 2013 revenue to approximate $655 million. *** The Street currently expects FY12 revs of $604.4 million and FY13 revs of $638.16.
Skullcandy, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKUL) 9% HIGHER; takeover speculation reported in Bloomberg
Clearwire (NASDAQ: CLWR) 7% HIGHER; receives an unsolicited $3.30/share bid from DISH Network Corporation (Nasdaq: DISH), which is above the current $2.97/share offer from Sprint (NYSE: S).
Apollo Group (NASDAQ: APOL) 6% LOWER; Apollo reported Q1 EPS of $1.22, $0.32 better than the analyst estimate of $0.90. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.06 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.03 billion. In 2012, Apollo reported comparable revenue of $1.2 billion. In Q1 University of Phoenix Degreed Enrollment was 319,700, a 14.3 percent decrease from the prior year first quarter, and New Degreed Enrollment was 54,100, a 15.1 percent decrease from the prior year first quarter.
Netspend Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTSP) 5% LOWER; Downgraded to Sell at Goldman Sachs
Crosstex Energy LP (Nasdaq: XTEX) 4% LOWER; priced an underwritten public offering of 7,500,000 common units representing limited partner interests of the Partnership at $15.15 per common unit.
Higher One Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: ONE) 4% LOWER; Downgraded to Sell at Goldman Sachs
U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. (NYSE: USPH) 3% LOWER; announced that the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 signed into law last week includes provisions which will reduce reimbursement for physical therapy services provided to Medicare patients.
Chatham Lodging Trust (NYSE: CLDT) 3% LOWER; announced that it is offering 3,500,000 common shares of beneficial interest, $0.01 par value per share in a public offering. Barclays and UBS Investment Bank are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering
Seagate Technology plc (Nasdaq: STX) 3% HIGHER; expects to report fiscal second quarter 2013 revenue of at least $3.6 billion and gross margin of more than 27%, reflecting unit shipments of approximately 58 million and maintaining market share. These preliminary results compare to the Company’s previous expectations for revenue of approximately $3.5 billion and gross margin at the lower end of the Company’s long-term non-GAAP gross margin range of 27% to 32%. *** The Street sees revs of $3.53 billion and EPS of $1.23.

Global Payments, Inc. (NYSE: GPN) 2% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.93, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.87. Revenue for the quarter came in at $588.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $574.95 million. The Board of Directors approved an additional $150 million share repurchase authorization of Global Payments' stock which increased the current $150 million share repurchase authorization to a total of $300 million.
