Late Friday, S&P placed the ratings on BE Aerospace Inc. (Nasdaq: BEAV), including the 'BBB-' corporate credit rating, on CreditWatch with negative implications.
Standard & Poor's credit analyst Roman Szuper said, "The action reflects the difficult conditions for commercial aviation suppliers as a result of the global recession, resulting in materially lower air traffic, capacity cuts by airlines, weak orders for new aircraft, and uncertain airplane delivery prospects for 2010."
