S&P Lowers Cintas (CTAS) Credit Rating
Standard & Poor's lowered its corporate credit and senior unsecured debt ratings on Cintas Corp. (Nasdaq: CTAS) to 'A-' from 'A'. The firm also lowered the short-term and commercial paper ratings on Cintas to 'A-2' from 'A-1'.
S&P credit analyst Mark Salierno, "The downgrade reflects our belief that the company will be challenged to maintain key credit measures stronger than 'A' rating medians over the near term, which we had previously expected in order to support Cintas' satisfactory business risk profile."
