Harvest Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE: HNR) 28% HIGHER; announced it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Pluspetrol Venezuela S.A., an entity belonging to one of the leading exploration and production companies in Latin America, to sell the outstanding shares of Harvest. Under the proposed transaction, at closing Pluspetrol would retain Harvest's 32% interest in Petrodelta S.A., while Harvest's non-Venezuelan assets would be contributed to a new company (SpinCo) that would be spun off to Harvest's shareholders. SpinCo will be managed by Harvest's current management team.

Coldwater Creek, Inc. (NASDAQ: CWTR) 20.1% LOWER;reported Q2 EPS of ($0.72), $0.09 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.63). Revenue for the quarter came in at $149.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $162.81 million. Comparable premium retail sales declined 7.3 percent for the quarter. Net sales from the direct segment were $31.1 million, compared with $33.8 million in the same period last year. Sees Q3 2013 EPS of ($0.55)-$0.75, versus the consensus of ($0.37).

Plug Power Inc. (Nasdaq: PLUG) 17.4% LOWER; priced an underwritten public offering of 18,600,000 shares of its common stock. The shares will be sold at a price to the public of $0.54 per share for gross proceeds of approximately $10.0 million.

SYNNEX (NYSE: SNX) 14.9% HIGHER; IBM (NYSE: IBM) and SYNNEX announced today a definitive agreement in which SYNNEX will acquire IBM's worldwide customer care business process outsourcing services business for $505 million, consisting of approximately $430 million in cash and $75 million in stock. The acquisition will be branded and fully integrated with Concentrix, a wholly owned subsidiary of SYNNEX.

Pluristem Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: PSTI) 6.2% HIGHER; the United States Patent and Trademark Office has granted the Company U.S. Patent 8,529,888. This patent, the 26th issued to the Company, covers methods for the treatment of peripheral artery disease with placental-derived adherent stromal cells. The treatment for PAD is one of Pluristem's primary drug development areas. Based on priority date, the expected expiration date of this patent is at least until 2028

Ventrus Biosciences, Inc. (Nasdaq: VTUS) 6.1% HIGHER; announced positive results from two clinical dermal safety studies and one pharmacokinetic (PK) study of diltiazem hydrochloride 2% cream (VEN 307). All three studies were conducted to support the Company's planned New Drug Application (NDA) for VEN 307 as a treatment for anal fissures (AF).

Neonode Inc. (NASDAQ: NEON) 5.63% LOWER; announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 1,978,492 shares of Neonode common stock, of which 1,000,000 shares are being offered by Neonode and an aggregate of 978,492 shares are being offered by selling stockholders affiliated with Neonode. The selling stockholders are Neonode’s executive chairman Per Bystedt, chief executive officer and director Thomas Eriksson, director Mats Dahlin, director John Reardon, and chief financial officer David Brunton. The selling stockholders expect to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an aggregate of 296,773 additional shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any.

Theravance, Inc. (NASDAQ: THRX) 5.6% HIGHER; GlaxoSmithKline plc (LSE: GSK) and Theravance announced that the Pulmonary-Allergy Drugs Advisory Committee (PADAC) to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) voted 11 yes to 2 no that the efficacy and safety data provide substantial evidence to support approval of umeclidinium/vilanterol (UMEC/VI, 62.5/25mcg dose) for the long-term, once-daily, maintenance bronchodilator treatment of airflow obstruction in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL) 5.5% LOWER; Disappointment with 5C pricing, multiple analyst downgrades.

Lannett Comp (NYSE: LCI) 4.8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.12, may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.07. Revenue for the quarter came in at $40.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $37.89 million.

SunEdison (NYSE: SUNE) 4.8% LOWER; announced that it will file a prospectus supplement to a registration statement filed on Form S-3 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC"), relating to a proposed underwritten public offering of shares of common stock. The Company will be offering 30,000,000 shares of its common stock. The underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,500,000 shares of common stock from the Company, all at the offering price less the underwriting discount.

Xoom Corporation (Nasdaq: XOOM) 4.3% HIGHER; announced the pricing of its follow-on offering of 4,403,270 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $30.50 per share. Of these, 2,970,648 shares will be offered by Xoom and 1,432,622 shares will be offered by selling stockholders. The underwriters have been granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 660,490 shares of common stock from Xoom to cover over-allotments.

Restoration Hardware Holdings (NYSE: RH) 4.2% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.49, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.43. Revenue for the quarter came in at $382.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $377.6 million. Restoration Hardware Holdings sees FY2013 EPS of $1.65-$1.70, versus prior guidance of $1.41-$1.47 and the consensus of $1.49. Restoration Hardware Holdings sees FY2013 revenue of $1.56-1.58 billion, versus prior guidance of $1.47-1.51 billion and the consensus of $1.53 billion.

Oxford Industries, Inc. (NYSE: OXM) 3.6% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.01, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.98. Revenue for the quarter came in at $235 million versus the consensus estimate of $243.5 million. Oxford Industries, Inc. sees FY2013 EPS of $2.90-$3.05, versus the consensus of $3.12. Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) 0.5% LOWER; narrowed its expected ranges for revenue and earnings per share (EPS). The company currently expects its financial results to be within the following ranges: * Revenue: $3.15 – 3.29 billion compared with the prior range of $3.09 – 3.35 billion * EPS: $0.51 – 0.55 compared with the prior range of $0.49 – 0.57. *** The Street is at EPS of $0.53 and revs of $3.23 billion.
