Fabrinet (NYSE: FN) 19.6% LOWER; announced that during the fourth quarter of the fiscal year ended June 27, 2014, certain accounting issues were discovered by management, which prompted the Audit Committee to commence an internal investigation. The Audit Committee is investigating whether there were any violations of the Company’s accounting policies associated with these potential accounting matters. The Company has also notified the SEC of the Audit Committee’s investigation.
Sky-mobi Limited (NASDAQ: MOBI) 18% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of RMB0.26, versus a breakeven loss reported in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at RMB170.22 million, versus RMB125.22 million reported last year.
Lannett (NYSE: LCI) 11.5% HIGHER; announced that it expects to report fiscal 2014 fourth quarter net sales of approximately $81 million and diluted earnings per share attributable to Lannett Company in the range of $0.60 and $0.64. Dollar General (NYSE: DG) 10% HIGHER; announced it has made a proposal to acquire Family Dollar Stores, Inc. (NYSE: FDO) for $78.50 per share in cash, in a transaction valued at $9.7 billion. The proposal was conveyed this morning in a letter to Family Dollars Board of Directors. This transaction would deliver increased consideration and immediate liquidity to Family Dollars shareholders and represents a compelling opportunity to create value for Dollar General shareholders. The combination would solidify Dollar Generals position as the largest small-box discount retailer in the U.S. with nearly 20,000 stores in 46 states and sales of over $28 billion.
Tekmira Pharma (NASDAQ: TKMR) 9.5% HIGHER; Leerink Swann initiated coverage with an Outperform rating and a price target of $25.00.
China Mobile Games and Ent. (NASDAQ: CMGE) 8% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.27, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $44.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $43.6 million. For the third quarter of 2014, the Company expects its total revenues to be between RMB 330 million and RMB350 million.

JinkoSolar (NYSE: JKS) 3% HIGHER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.92, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $0.76. Revenue for the quarter came in at $392.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $391.55 million.
