Onconova Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ONTX) 39.8% LOWER; announced that the Phase 3 ONTIME trial of intravenous (IV) rigosertib in patients with higher risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) who had progressed on, failed or relapsed after prior therapy with hypomethylating agents (HMAs) did not meet the primary endpoint of overall survival compared to best supportive care (BSC). The ONTIME trial enrolled 299 patients including 199 patients in the IV rigosertib plus BSC arm. Median overall survival in the IV rigosertib plus BSC arm was 8.2 months compared to 5.8 months in BSC only arm. Treatment with IV rigosertib plus BSC did not demonstrate a statistically significant improvement in median overall survival when compared to BSC only (Hazard Ratio=0.86; p-value=0.27).

Conn's, Inc. (NASDAQ: CONN) 36.7% LOWER; expects to generate diluted earnings per share of between $0.76 and $0.81 in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014, which includes a net benefit of approximately $0.01 per diluted share associated with facility closures. After excluding this benefit, adjusted diluted earnings per share for the three months ended January 31, 2014, is expected to range between $0.75 and $0.80 – below the level anticipated in the Company’s previously issued full-year fiscal 2014 guidance. The consensus is $0.93. This decline reflects the impact of increased provision for bad debt due to higher-than-expected accounts receivable charge-offs and delinquency rates in December and January, and portfolio growth. Also in the quarter, same store sales rose an estimated 33.4% from the same period last year. Fiscal 2015 earnings guidance revised to $3.40 to $3.70 per diluted share. The consensus is $3.96.

Raptor Pharmaceutical Corp. (Nasdaq: RPTP) 21% HIGHER; announced top line results from a planned 18 month analysis of an ongoing 3 year Phase 2/3 clinical trial of RP103 (delayed-release cysteamine) for the potential treatment of Huntington's disease (HD) in collaboration with the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire d'Angers (CHU d'Angers). A total of 96 patients with HD were randomized to treatment with RP103 or placebo. Eighty nine patients completed the initial 18 month phase. Analysis of all 96 patients enrolled in the trial showed a positive trend towards slower progression of Total Motor Score (TMS) in patients treated with RP103 vs. those patients on placebo, the primary endpoint of the study. TMS progression was 32% slower in patients treated with RP103 vs. those treated with placebo after 18 months treatment (4.51 vs. 6.68 respectively, p=0.19). In 66 patients not taking concurrent tetrabenazine, RP103 treatment resulted in a statistically significant slower progression in TMS vs. the placebo group (2.84 points vs. 6.78 respectively, p=0.03).

Tesla Motors, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) 12.3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.33, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $615 million versus the consensus estimate of $657.15 million.

Blackhawk Networks (NASDAQ: HAWK) 11.3% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.81, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.84. Revenue for the quarter came in at $521.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $539.2 million.

IMAX Corp. (NYSE: IMAX) 10% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.44, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $105.06 million versus the consensus estimate of $92.9 million.

Millennial Media (NYSE: MM) 9.3% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.08, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter came in at $109.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $95.62 million. Sees Q1 2014 revenue of $72-76 million, versus the consensus of $83.25 million. Adjusted EBITDA is expected to be a loss between $(5) million and $(6) million.

Cytokinetics, Incorporated (Nasdaq: CYTK) 9% LOWER; announced that it intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. Cytokinetics also expects to grant the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares of common stock offered in the public offering, exercisable for 30 days. All of the shares in the proposed offering are to be sold by Cytokinetics. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.

AVG Technologies (NYSE: AVG) 8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.52, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $101.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $95.22 million. AVG Technologies sees FY2014 EPS of $1.80-$2.10, versus the consensus of $1.92. AVG Technologies sees FY2014 revenue of $365-405 million, versus the consensus of $394.3 million.

HomeAway (NASDAQ: AWAY) 8.2% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.08, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter came in at $90.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $87.52 million. HomeAway sees Q1 2014 revenue of $102.1-103.3 million, versus the consensus of $99.47 million. HomeAway sees FY 2014 revenue of $429-$436 million, versus the consensus of $435.6 million.

BlackBerry (NASDAQ: BBRY) 6.8% HIGHER; higher related to Facebook's (NASDAQ: FB) deal to acquire WhatsApp for $19 billion.

Yandex (NASDAQ: YNDX) 5.5% LOWER; reported Q4 net income of $0.31 per ADS, versus $0.26 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $369.3 million, versus $290.4 million reported last year.

Portfolio Recovery Associates, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRAA) 5% HIGHER; has agreed to acquire Aktiv Kapital AS, a Norway-based company specializing in the acquisition and servicing of non-performing consumer loans throughout Europe and in Canada.

Trinity Industries, Inc. (NYSE: TRN) 4.8% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.44, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $1.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.26 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.22 billion.

Goodrich Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: GDP) 5% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.57), $0.09 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.48). Revenue for the quarter came in at $50.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $62.74 million.

Penn Virginia Corp. (NYSE: PVA) 4.3% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.10), $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.03). Revenue for the quarter came in at $117.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $128.59 million.

Infoblox (NYSE: BLOX) 4.1% HIGHER; Goldman Sachs upgraded from Neutral to Buy with a price target of $27.00. Analyst Kent Schofield thinks a reset of expectations created opportunity.

BioCryst Pharma (NASDAQ: BCRX) 3.7% HIGHER; Mizuho Securities initiated coverage with a Buy. PT $23.00.

Safeway, Inc. (NYSE: SWY) 3.4% HIGHER; confirmed it is in discussions concerning a possible transaction involving the sale of the company. Although the discussions are ongoing, the company has not reached an agreement on a transaction, and there can be no assurance that these discussions will lead to an agreement or a completed transaction. The company will not comment further on these discussions at this time.

SolarCity Corporation (NASDAQ: SCTY) 3.4% HIGHER; higher on strong results from Tesla.

Jack in the Box, Inc. (NASDAQ: JACK) 2.4% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.75, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.66. Revenue for the quarter came in at $450.08 million versus the consensus estimate of $435.43 million. Jack in the Box, Inc. sees FY2014 EPS of $2.20-$2.35, versus the consensus of $2.25.

Wal-Mart Stores (NYSE: WMT) 2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.60, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.59. Revenue for the quarter came in at $129.71 billion versus the consensus estimate of $130.44 billion.

Marriott International Inc. (NASDAQ: MAR) 2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.49, $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.50. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.22 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.32 billion. Marriott International Inc. sees Q1 2014 EPS of $0.47-$0.52, versus the consensus of $0.51. Marriott International Inc. sees FY2014 EPS of $2.29-$2.45, versus the consensus of $2.35. For full year 2014, Marriott expects North American and worldwide Systemwide constant dollar REVPAR to increase 4 to 6 percent.

Equinix, Inc. (NASDAQ: EQIX) 1.2% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.88, $0.11 better than the analyst estimate of $0.77. Revenue for the quarter came in at $564.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $562.58 million. Equinix, Inc. sees Q1 2014 revenue of $572-576 million, versus the consensus of $579.11 million. Equinix, Inc. sees FY2014 revenue of $2.38 billion, versus the consensus of $2.41 billion.

Berry Plastics Group, Inc. (NYSE: BERY) 1.2% LOWER; announced today the commencement of a secondary public offering of 9,000,000 shares of the Companys common stock by certain funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management, LLC (collectively, the Selling Stockholders).

Denbury Resources, Inc. (NYSE: DNR) 1.2% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.27, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.31. Revenue for the quarter came in at $596 million versus the consensus estimate of $617.02 million.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) 1% LOWER; Barclays downgraded from Overweight to Equalweight.

Facebook (Nasdaq: FB) 0.6% LOWER; announced that it has reached a definitive agreement to acquire WhatsApp, a rapidly growing cross-platform mobile messaging company, for a total of approximately $16 billion, including $4 billion in cash and approximately $12 billion worth of Facebook shares. The agreement also provides for an additional $3 billion in restricted stock units to be granted to WhatsApp's founders and employees that will vest over four years subsequent to closing.
