Anavex Life Sciences Corp. (Nasdaq: AVXL) 21.9% HIGHER; announced a positive 41-week update from its Phase 2a study in mild-to-moderate Alzheimers disease (AD) patients for ANAVEX 2-73, which targets cellular homeostasis. At 41 weeks, Alzheimers patients taking a daily oral dose of ANAVEX 2-73 in the exploratory, not yet dose optimized Phase 2a clinical trial, showed a stabilization of cognitive and functional measures. This data of stabilization is promising since Alzheimers disease is a progressive disease where current therapeutics are only able to temporarily slow the worsening of dementia symptoms and not stop the disease from progressing.

Patterson Cos. (NASDAQ: PDCO) 17.6% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.56, $0.04 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.4 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.44 billion. GUIDANCE: Patterson Cos. sees FY2017 EPS of $2.25-$2.35, versus the consensus of $2.64.

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW) 10.9% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $0.53, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.53. Revenue for the quarter came in at $398.1 million versus the consensus estimate of $400.2 million. GUIDANCE: Palo Alto Networks sees Q2 2017 EPS of $0.61-$0.63, versus the consensus of $0.63. Palo Alto Networks sees Q2 2017 revenue of $426-432 million, versus the consensus of $439.0 million.

Dycom Industries (NYSE: DY) 10.7% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.67, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $1.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $799.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $801.34 million. GUIDANCE: Dycom Industries sees Q2 2017 EPS of $0.61-$0.73, versus the consensus of $0.71. Dycom Industries sees Q2 2017 revenue of $640-670 million, versus the consensus of $667 million.

Vipshop Holdings (NYSE: VIPS) 10% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.15, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.8 billion.

Burlington Stores (NYSE: BURL) 9.3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.51, $0.18 better than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.34 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.32 billion. Comparable store sales increased 3.7%. GUIDANCE: Burlington Stores sees FY2016 EPS of $3.11-$3.15, versus prior guidance of $2.92-$2.96 and the consensus of $2.98.

Signet Jewelers (NYSE: SIG) 9.1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.30, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.19 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.18 billion. Comps fell 2.0 percent, versus a drop of 3.9 percent expected. GUIDANCE: Signet Jewelers sees Q4 2017 EPS of $4.00-$4.20, versus the consensus of $3.97. Signet Jewelers sees FY2017 EPS of $7.38-$7.58, versus the consensus of $7.27.

Star Bulk Carriers (NASDAQ: SBLK) 8.9% HIGHER reported Q3 EPS of ($0.44), $0.12 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.56). Revenue for the quarter came in at $59.92 million versus the consensus estimate of $46.66 million.

Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) 8.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 adjusted EPS of $0.81, versus the analyst estimate of $0.78. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.08 billion. Same-store sales increased 1.7%, on a constant currency basis, compared to a 2.1% increase in the prior-year period. ​GUIDANCE: Dollar Tree sees Q4 2016 EPS of $1.24 - $1.33, versus prior guidance of $1.24 - $1.33 and the consensus of $1.29. Dollar Tree sees Q4 2016 revenue of $5.59 - $5.69 billion, versus the consensus of $5.63 billion. Dollar Tree sees FY2016 EPS of $3.67-$3.76, versus prior guidance of $3.67 - $3.80 and the consensus of $3.80. Dollar Tree sees FY2016 revenue of $20.67 - $20.77 billion, versus prior guidance of $20.69 - $20.87 billion and the consensus of $20.86 billion. Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) 7.7% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $1.12, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.11. Revenue for the quarter came in at $7.35 billion versus the consensus estimate of $7.46 billion. Medtronic sees FY2017 EPS of $4.55-$4.60, versus the consensus of $4.66.

TG Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: TGTX) 7.5% HIGHER; announced that the independent Data Safety Monitoring Board (DSMB) providing oversight for the UNITY-CLL Phase 3 trial reviewed the cumulative safety data from the ongoing clinical study and informed the Company that it has identified no safety concerns, and recommended the continuation of the study with no modifications. Per the protocol’s pre-specified DSMB charter, the DSMB is scheduled to meet approximately every 6-9 months to review cumulative safety data.

James River Group Holdings, Ltd. (Nasdaq: JRVR) 7.5% LOWER; announced that certain of the Companys significant shareholders intend to offer in an underwritten public offering an aggregate of 3,000,000 of the Companys common shares (the Selling Shareholders). The Selling Shareholders will receive all of the net proceeds from this offering. The underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 450,000 common shares from the Selling Shareholders. No shares are being sold by the Company.

Pennant Investment (NASDAQ: PNNT) 7% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.27, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.26. "Given the continued weakness in energy and overall yield compression in the market, we have concluded, in consultation with our board of directors, that it is prudent to pay our $0.28 per share distribution for the December 2016 quarter, and then reduce the distribution to $0.18 per share for the March 2017 quarter."

Cracker Barrel (NASDAQ: CBRL) 5.6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $2.01, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $1.84. Revenue for the quarter came in at $710 million versus the consensus estimate of $713.73 million. Comparable store restaurant sales increased 1.3%, including a 3.0% increase in average check partially offset by a 1.7% decrease in store traffic. GUIDANCE: Cracker Barrel sees FY2017 EPS of $8.10-$8.25, versus the consensus of $8.13. Cracker Barrel sees FY2017 revenue of $2.95-3.00 billion, versus the consensus of $2.99 billion.

TherapeuticsMD (NYSE: TXMD) 5.6% HIGHER; new bullish ratings at Oppenheimer and Jefferies.

CTI BioPharma Corp. (NASDAQ: CTIC) 5% HIGHER; announced that data from the randomized Phase 3 PERSIST-2 clinical trial comparing the investigational agent pacritinib, an oral multikinase inhibitor, with physician-specified best available therapy (BAT), including ruxolitinib, for treatment of patients with myelofibrosis whose baseline platelet counts are less than 100,000 per microliter will be presented in a late-breaking oral presentation at the upcoming 58th American Society of Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting, being held December 3-6 in San Diego, CA.

FireEye, Inc (NASDAQ: FEYE) 4% LOWER; Goldman Sachs downgraded from Neutral to Sell with a price target of $11 (prior $15), implying downside of 21%

Proofpoint (NASDAQ: PFPT) 3.9% LOWER; down on PANW lackluster results.

Sunrun (NASDAQ: RUN) 3.7% HIGHER; Barclays upgraded from Equalweight to Overweight with a price target of $7.00.

Jack in the Box (NASDAQ: JACK) 3.3% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.03, $0.15 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $398.42 million versus the consensus estimate of $398.71 million. Jack in the Box sees GAAP FY2017 EPS of $4.55-$4.75, which may not compare to the consensus of $4.75.

Sina Corp (NASDAQ: SINA) 3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.56, $0.21 better than the analyst estimate of $0.35. Revenue for the quarter came in at $272.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $265.3 million. DAUs were 132 million and MAUs were 297 million.

Enanta Pharma (NASDAQ: ENTA) 3% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of ($0.09), $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $12.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $13.23 million.
