Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) 11.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.02, $0.19 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $821.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $830.6 million. Comparable sales for the third quarter down 6%.

HRG Group, Inc. (NYSE: HRG) 11% HIGHER; announced that Omar Asali, President and Chief Executive Officer of HRG, plans to leave the Company in the second half of fiscal 2017 to establish a private investment vehicle that will make long-term investments in private and public companies. The Company also announced today that its Board of Directors has initiated a process to explore the strategic alternatives available to the Company with a view to maximizing shareholder value.

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: KTOS) 8.8% LOWER; announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 11,670,000 shares of its common stock at a purchase price of $6.00 per share.

PharmAthene (NYSE: PIP) 8.6% HIGHER; declared a special dividend of $2.91 per share.

Marvell Technology (NASDAQ: MRVL) 7.8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.20, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $654.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $615.89 million. GUIDANCE: Marvell Technology sees Q4 2017 EPS of $0.17-$0.21, versus the consensus of $0.13. Marvell Technology sees Q4 2017 revenue of $553.7-576.3 million, versus the consensus of $594.6 million.

Gap, Inc. (NYSE: GPS) 7.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.60, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.74 billion. Gap Inc.’s comparable sales for the third quarter of fiscal year 2016 were down 3 percent, including an estimated negative impact from the Fishkill distribution center fire of approximately 2 percentage points, versus a 2 percent decrease last year. Downgraded to Sell at Citi.

New Media Investment Group Inc. (NYSE: NEWM) 6.3% LOWER; announced that it priced its public offering of 7,500,000 shares of its common stock for gross proceeds of approximately $120 million, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and offering expenses payable by the Company.

salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM) 5.4% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.24, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.14 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.12 billion. GUIDANCE: salesforce.com sees Q4 2017 EPS of $0.24-$0.25, versus the consensus of $0.25. salesforce.com sees Q4 2017 revenue of $2.267-2.277 billion, versus the consensus of $2.24 billion. salesforce.com sees FY2017 EPS of $0.97-$0.98, versus the consensus of $0.95. salesforce.com sees FY2017 revenue of $8.37-8..8 billion, versus the consensus of $8.31 billion.

Emerge Energy Services LP (NASDAQ: EMES) 5% LOWER; announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 3,400,000 common units representing limited partner interests in Emerge Energy at $10.00 per common unit.

ViaSat Inc. (Nasdaq: VSAT) 5% HIGHER; announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 6,500,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $69.74 per share

Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CYH) 4.4% HIGHER; announced that subsidiaries of the Company have signed a definitive agreement to sell Rockwood Health System and its associated assets to MultiCare Health System for $425 million, subject to certain adjustments. Facilities included in the transaction include 388-bed Deaconess Hospital in Spokane, 123-bed Valley Hospital in Spokane Valley and the multi-specialty Rockwood Clinic, all in Washington.

Williams-Sonoma (NYSE: WSM) 4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.78, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.77. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.25 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.26 billion. Comparable brand revenue decreasing 0.4%.

Ross Stores (NASDAQ: ROST) 3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.62, $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.96 billion. Sales for the 2016 third quarter rose 11% to $3.1 billion, with comparable store sales up 7% versus a 3% gain in the prior year. GUIDANCE: Ross Stores sees FY2016 EPS of $2.78-$2.81, versus the consensus of $2.75.

SolarCity (NASDAQ: SCTY) 2.8% HIGHER; Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) shareholders approved the SolarCity merger.

Post Holdings (NYSE: POST) 2.2% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.61, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $0.44. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.26 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.31 billion. For FY16, Adjusted EBITDA was $933.9 million, an increase of $276.5 million, or 42.1%, compared to the prior year.

Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN) 1% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.41, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenue for the quarter came in at $512.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $505.1 million.

Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) 1% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.66, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.65. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.31 billion. GUIDANCE: Applied Materials sees Q1 2017 EPS of $0.62-$0.70, versus the consensus of $0.58. Applied Materials sees Q1 2017 revenue of $3.20-3.34 billion, versus the consensus of $3.12 billion.
