PTC Therapeutics (NASDAQ: PTCT) 81% HIGHER; announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use (CHMP) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA) has recommended the renewal of the conditional marketing authorization of Translarna (ataluren) for the treatment of nonsense mutation Duchenne muscular dystrophy (nmDMD) in ambulatory patients five years and older. In connection with the renewal, the marketing authorization will include a specific obligation to conduct an additional long-term post-authorization trial.

Photronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: PLAB) 21.1% LOWER; now expects fourth quarter sales to be approximately $107 million, and diluted earnings per share (EPS) to be in the range of $0.02 to $0.03. These expectations compare with the previously announced guidance range of $118 to $128 million in sales and diluted EPS of $0.09 to $0.17. The consensus is $123.4 million and $0.13.

NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) 16.7% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.94, $0.37 better than the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.69 billion. NVIDIA sees Q4 2017 revenue of $2.058-2.142 billion, versus the consensus of $1.69 billion.

Amedica (NASDAQ: AMDA) 10.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.30), versus ($2.21) reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.38 million, versus $4.84 million reported last year.

J.C. Penney (NYSE: JCP) 6.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.22), $0.01 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.21). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.86 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.96 billion. Comps fell 0.8 percent, versus a gain of 2.7 percent expected by the Street. For the third quarter, gross margin was 37.2 % of sales, a 10 basis point decline compared to the same period last year. Guidance: The Company has updated its 2016 full year guidance as follows: Comparable store sales: expected to now increase 1% to 2%. (The Company previously saw a 3 - 4 percent increase.);

The Trade Desk (NASDAQ: TTD) 6.4% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.24, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $53 million versus the consensus estimate of $49.06 million. GUIDANCE: The Trade Desk sees Q4 2016 revenue of $62.0 million.

Dillard's (NYSE: DDS) 6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.67, $0.11 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.78. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.37 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.41 billion.

Acacia Communications (NASDAQ: ACIA) 4.2% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.01, $0.20 better than the analyst estimate of $0.81. Revenue for the quarter came in at $135.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $130.85 million. GUIDANCE: Acacia Communications sees Q4 2016 EPS of $0.85-$0.92, versus the consensus of $0.78. Acacia Communications sees Q4 2016 revenue of $136-141 million, versus the consensus of $137.2 million.

Michael Kors (NYSE: KORS) 3.6% LOWER; reported Q2 EPS of $0.95, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.88. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.09 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.09 billion. Comps fell 5.6 percent, versus a 5.7 percent drop expected. The company sees FY17 revenue of about $4.55 billion, versus $4.64 billion expected. EPS is expected at $4.37 - $4.43, with the consensus at $4.57.

Nordstrom (NYSE: JWN) 3.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.84, $0.33 better than the analyst estimate of $0.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $3.54 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.48 billion. Comps increased 2.4%. GUIDANCE: Nordstrom sees FY2016 EPS of $2.85-$2.95, versus prior guidance of $2.60-$2.75 and the consensus of $2.73.

e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. (NYSE: ELF) 2.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.09, $0.08 better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter came in at $56.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $53.95 million. GUIDANCE: e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. sees FY2016 EPS of $0.30, versus the consensus of $0.25. e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. sees FY2016 revenue of $227 million, versus the consensus of $227.35 million.

Sunrun (NASDAQ: RUN) 2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.16, $0.30 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.14). Revenue for the quarter came in at $112 million versus the consensus estimate of $132.61 million.

Aetna (NYSE: AET) 1.9% HIGHER; Credit Suisse upgraded from Neutral to Outperform with a price target of $135.00 (from $120.00) for the Trump Black Swan event.

Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR) 1.8% HIGHER; Oppenheimer upgraded from Perform to Outperform with a price target of $16.

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd's (NYSE: BABA) 1.5% LOWER; Singles' Day sales surged past last year's 91.2 billion yuan ($13.36 billion) total with nearly nine hours left on the clock, but growth was markedly slower than in 2015 as shoppers sought even bigger price cuts.

Disney (NYSE: DIS) 1.1% LOWER; reported Q4 EPS of $1.10, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $13.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $13.52 billion.

Blue Buffalo Pet Products (NASDAQ: BUFF) 1% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.22, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenue for the quarter came in at $288 million versus the consensus estimate of $290.29 million. GUIDANCE: Blue Buffalo Pet Products sees FY2016 EPS of $0.78-$0.79, versus the consensus of $0.76. Blue Buffalo Pet Products sees FY2016 revenue of $1.14-1.15 billion, versus the consensus of $1.15 billion.

Tiffany & Co. (NYSE: TIF) 0.8% HIGHER; Cowen upgraded from Neutral to Outperform with a price target of $90.00 (from $74.00)

Humana (NYSE: HUM) 0.6% HIGHER; Credit Suisse upgraded from Neutral to Outperform with a price target of $210.00 (from $175.00) for the Trump Black Swan event.
