ProQR Therapeutics N.V. (Nasdaq: PRQR) 34% HIGHER; clinical study PQ-010-002, a proof-of-concept study of nasal potential difference (NPD), demonstrated that QR-010 restored CFTR function in a cohort of homozygous ∆F508 cystic fibrosis (CF) patients. The study met its primary endpoint in this cohort as measured by a change in total chloride response following 4 weeks of treatment with QR-010. In the compound heterozygous ∆F508 cohort, no meaningful difference was found. QR-010 was observed to be safe and well-tolerated in both cohorts.

Community Health Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CYH) 33.4% LOWER; announced preliminary financial and operating results for the three months ended September 30, 2016. The Company anticipates net operating revenues for the three months ended September 30, 2016, will be approximately $4.380 billion, compared with $4.846 billion for the same period in 2015. Income from continuing operations before income taxes as reported for the three months ended September 30, 2016, is expected to be a loss of approximately $(83) million, compared with income from continuing operations before income taxes of $121 million for the three months ended September 30, 2015. Net cash provided by operating activities for the three months ended September 30, 2016, is expected to be approximately $178 million, with total net cash provided by operating activities for the nine months ended September 30, 2016, expected to be approximately $810 million. This compares with $111 million for the three months ended September 30, 2015, and $615 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2015. Adjusted EBITDA for the three months ended September 30, 2016, is expected to be approximately $465 million, compared with $661 million for the same period in 2015. Income from continuing operations attributable to Community Health Systems, Inc. common stockholders for the three months ended September 30, 2016, is expected to be a loss of $(0.69) per share (diluted), compared with income from continuing operations of $0.51 per share (diluted) for the three months ended September 30, 2015. The results for the three months ended September 30, 2016, included a loss of $(0.28) per share (diluted) for the impairment of goodwill and long-lived assets, primarily related to the allocation of reporting unit goodwill to four hospitals classified as held for sale in September 2016 upon the execution of a definitive sale agreement as noted above, as well as the updated measurement of the estimated impairment charge recorded during the three months ended June 30, 2016, and a loss of $(0.06) per share (diluted) related to the settlement of certain outstanding legal matters. Excluding these items, the Company anticipates income from continuing operations attributable to Community Health Systems, Inc. common stockholders to be a loss of $(0.35) per share (diluted) for the three months ended September 30, 2016. (Street sees Q3 EPS of $0.31 on revenue of $4.25 billion.)

GNC Holdings (NYSE: GNC) 20.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.59, $0.12 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $628 million versus the consensus estimate of $651.33 million. Same store sales decreased 8.5% in domestic company-owned stores (including GNC.com sales) in the third quarter of 2016. In domestic franchise locations, same store sales decreased 8.9% in the third quarter of 2016.

ReWalk Robotics Ltd. (Nasdaq: RWLK) 20% LOWER; announced that it has priced its underwritten public offering of 3,250,000 units at a price to the public of $3.75 per unit. Each unit consists of one ordinary share of the Company and 0.75 of a warrant to purchase one ordinary share with an exercise price of $4.75. All of the units in the offering are to be sold by ReWalk. The ordinary shares and the warrants will be immediately separable and issued separately, but will be purchased together in the offering.

Ocwen Financial (NYSE: OCN) 17% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.08, $0.40 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.32). Revenue for the quarter came in at $359.45 million versus the consensus estimate of $353.08 million.

Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) 10.8% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.01), $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $720.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $710.47 million. Gross Billings were $1.43 billion in the third quarter 2016, down 2% from $1.47 billion in the third quarter 2015. On October 24, 2016, Groupon entered into an agreement to acquire all of the outstanding shares of LivingSocial, Inc. The acquisition is expected to close by early November 2016, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions. The acquisition consideration is not material. GUIDANCE: Groupon sees FY2016 revenue of $3.075-3.15 billion, versus the consensus of $3.1 billion.

Ultra Clean Holdings (NASDAQ: UCTT) 10.1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.17, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter came in at $146.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $134.89 million. GUIDANCE: Ultra Clean Holdings sees Q4 2016 EPS of $0.17-$0.20, versus the consensus of $0.11. Ultra Clean Holdings sees Q4 2016 revenue of $146-151 million, versus the consensus of $130.2 million.

Cimpress N.V. (NASDAQ: CMPR) 9.5% LOWER; reported Q1 EPS of ($0.92), which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($0.19). Revenue for the quarter came in at $443.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $458.87 million.

Theravance Biopharma, Inc. (Nasdaq: TBPH) 9% LOWER; announced that it intends to commence concurrent underwritten public offerings, subject to market and other conditions, of $100 million of its ordinary shares (the "Shares") and $150 million aggregate principal amount of its convertible senior notes due 2023 (the "Notes").

TTM Technologies (NASDAQ: TTMI) 8.8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.39, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $641.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $641.47 million. GUIDANCE: TTM Technologies sees Q4 2016 EPS of $0.42-$0.48, versus the consensus of $0.33. TTM Technologies sees Q4 2016 revenue of $650-690 million, versus the consensus of $664.4 million.

AK Steel Holding Corporation (NYSE: AKS) 8.6% LOWER; announced the pricing of its public offering of common stock. AK Holding agreed to sell 65,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $4.90 per share. In connection with this offering, AK Holding has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 9,750,000 shares of common stock

Rent-A-Center (NASDAQ: RCII) 8.5% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.11, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $693.88 million versus the consensus estimate of $701.27 million. GUIDANCE: Rent-A-Center sees FY2016 EPS of $1.05-$1.15, versus the consensus of $1.29.

Robert Half International (NYSE: RHI) 8.1% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.71, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.34 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.36 billion.

Shutterfly (NASDAQ: SFLY) 8% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of ($0.86), $0.06 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.92). Revenue for the quarter came in at $187.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $183.59 million. GUIDANCE: Shutterfly sees Q4 2016 EPS of $2.57-$2.86, versus the consensus of $2.73. Shutterfly sees Q4 2016 revenue of $557-587 million, versus the consensus of $584.2 million. Shutterfly sees FY2016 EPS of $0.40-$0.66, versus the consensus of $0.52. Shutterfly sees FY2016 revenue of $1.13-1.16 billion, versus the consensus of $1.15 billion.

Cheesecake Factory (NASDAQ: CAKE) 7.9% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.70, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.61. Revenue for the quarter came in at $560 million versus the consensus estimate of $556.15 million. Comparable restaurant sales at The Cheesecake Factory restaurants increased 1.7% in the third quarter of fiscal 2016.

ServiceNow (NYSE: NOW) 7.7% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.23, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.21. Revenue for the quarter came in at $357.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $352.16 million. GUIDANCE: ServiceNow sees Q4 2016 revenue of $376-381 million, versus the consensus of $377.79 million

Western Digital (NASDAQ: WDC) 6% HIGHER; reported Q1 EPS of $1.18, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $1.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.7 billion versus the consensus estimate of $4.52 billion.

Netgear, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTGR) 6% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.76, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $338.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $323.82 million. GUIDANCE: Netgear, Inc. sees Q4 2016 revenue of $340-355 million, versus the consensus of $348.8 million.

Abeona Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: ABEO) 6% LOWER; announced that it intends to offer and sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering pursuant to an existing shelf registration statement.

Pilgrim's Pride (NASDAQ: PPC) 5.7% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.39, versus $0.53 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.03 million, versus $2.11 million reported last year.

Trinity Industries (NYSE: TRN) 5.3% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.55, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.52. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.11 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.21 billion. GUIDANCE: Trinity Industries sees Q4 2016 EPS of $0.30-$0.40, versus the consensus of $0.43

F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV) 5% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $2.11, $0.17 better than the analyst estimate of $1.94. Revenue for the quarter came in at $525.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $520.32 million. Also announced that Ryan Kearny has been appointed to the company’s executive leadership team as Executive Vice President of Product Development and Chief Technology Officer, reporting to the CEO. In this role, Kearny will oversee the company’s product development and innovation strategy for all F5 solutions.

Interface (NASDAQ: TILE) 4.4% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.25, $0.07 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.32. Revenue for the quarter came in at $248.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $252.34 million.

Planet Fitness (NYSE: PLNT) 4.3% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.16, versus $0.04 reported last year. Revenue for the quarter came in at $87 million, versus $69 million reported last year. GUIDANCE: Planet Fitness sees FY2016 EPS of $0.66-$0.67. Planet Fitness sees FY2016 revenue of $373-378 million.

Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) 4.2% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.71, $1.25 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.54). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.35 billion.

Twitter (NYSE: TWTR) 4.1% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.13, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter came in at $616 million versus the consensus estimate of $605.84 million. announced a restructuring and reduction in force affecting approximately 9% of Twitter’s positions globally.

SolarCity (NASDAQ: SCTY) 3.4% HIGHER; up on Tesla results

Celgene (NASDAQ: CELG) 3.4% HIGHER; reported Q3 EPS of $1.58, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $1.48. GUIDANCE: Celgene sees FY2016 EPS of $5.88-$5.92, versus prior guidance of $5.70-$5.75 and the consensus of $5.77.

O'Reilly Automotive (NASDAQ: ORLY) 2.9% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $2.90, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $2.92. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.22 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.22 billion. Third quarter comparable store sales increase of 4.2%. Entered into definitive agreement to purchase Bond Auto Parts. GUIDANCE: O'Reilly Automotive sees Q4 2016 EPS of $2.44-$2.54, versus the consensus of $2.56. O'Reilly Automotive sees FY2016 EPS of $10.58-$10.68, versus the consensus of $10.73.

NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ: NXPI) 2% HIGHER; Qualcomm Incorporated (NASDAQ: QCOM) and NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NASDAQ: NXPI) today announced a definitive agreement, unanimously approved by the boards of directors of both companies, under which Qualcomm will acquire NXP. Pursuant to the agreement, a subsidiary of Qualcomm will commence a tender offer to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of NXP for $110.00 per share in cash, representing a total enterprise value of approximately $47 billion.

Newmont Mining (NYSE: NEM) 1.9% LOWER; reported Q3 EPS of $0.38, $0.12 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.50. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.9 billion.
