Pre-Open Movers 6/19: Apria Healthcare (AHG) Up on Buyout, Huntsman (HUN) Sinks As Merger In Trouble

Huntsman (NYSE: HUN) 35% LOWER; Hexion Specialty Chemicals filed suit in the Delaware Court of Chancery alleging its $10.6 billion merger agreement with Huntsman is no longer viable.
Apria Healthcare Group Inc. (NYSE: AHG) 30% HIGHER; entered into a definitive merger agreement with an affiliate of The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX) in a transaction valued at approximately $1.6 billion.
Coventry Health Care, Inc. (NYSE: CVH) 20% LOWER; cut second quarter and full year 2008 earnings per share estimates. The Company expects second quarter diluted earnings per share (EPS) in the range of $0.55 to $0.57 and full year diluted EPS in the range of $3.65 to $3.75. The consensu sis $1.04 and $4.43, respectively.
Evergreen Solar, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESLR) 13% HIGHER; signed two new long-term sales contracts valued at approximately $600 million with United States-based groSolar and German-based Wagner & Co Solartechnik GmbH. These contracts extend through 2012 and bring the company’s total contractual backlog to approximately $1.7 billion.
USANA Health Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ: USNA) 10% HIGHER; raised its Q2 guidance: EPS move from $0.48-$0.51 to $0.60-$0.63, versus the consensus of $0.48, and sales go to $107-$109 million from $103-$106 million, versus $103.93 million.
UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) 8% LOWER; After Coventry Health's profit warning
Humana (NYSE: HUM) 7% LOWER; After Coventry Health's profit warning
Casella Waste Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CWST) 6% HIGHER; reports a Q4 loss of $0.18, ex-items, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.22). Revenues for the quarter were $139.6 million, versus the consensus of $137.66 million. Sees FY09 revs of $610-$628 million, versus the consensus of $605.7 million.

Healthways (Nasdaq: HWAY) 4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.39, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.39. Revenues for the quarter were $191.4 million, versus the consensus of $185.53 million. Reaffirms its FY08 guidance for revs of $720-$740 million, versus the consensus of $734.35, and EPS of $1.50-$1.55, versus the consensus of $1.50.
Circuit City (NYSE: CC) 3% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $1.00, versus the consensus of a $1.07 loss. Sales were $2.17 billion, versus the consensus of $2.37 billion. Q1 same-store sales fell 11.3%. Circuit City files shelf registrations with the SEC. Circuit City feaffirms forecast for FY09. Sees gradual recovery in 2H FY09.
