ScanSource, Inc. (NASDAQ: SCSC) 17% LOWER; announced that sales results for its quarter ended March 31, 2008, are expected to be in range of $509 to $515 million, which is below the consensus of $562.6 million.
LifeCell Corporation (NASDAQ: LIFC) 16.8% HIGHER; Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI) and LifeCell Corporation announced that they have signed a definitive agreement whereby KCI will acquire LifeCell for $51.00 per share, or $1.7 billion in cash.
Washington Mutual (NYSE: WM) 14.5% HIGHER; According to reports from the Wall Street Journal, private equity firm TPG and others are close to a deal to invest $5 billion in embattled savings and loan Washington Mutual.
