OpenTV Corp. (Nasdaq: OPTV) 28% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.08, 9 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.01). Revenues for the quarter were $38.2 million, versus the consensus of $29.72 million.
United Natural Foods (Nasdaq: UNFI) 25% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.29, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenues for the quarter were $830.7 million, versus the consensus of $816.48 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $1.12-$1.14, versus the consensus of $1.40.
ESS Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESST) 24% HIGHER; The company and ESS Technology and Imperium Partners Group, LLC announced that they entered into a definitive agreement yesterday under which Imperium will acquire all outstanding shares of ESS Technology for $1.64 per share in cash, representing a 36.67% premium over the closing price of ESS Technology's shares on February 21, 2008. The transaction is anticipated to close in mid-2008, subject to shareholder approval and certain other customary closing conditions.
Force Protection Inc. (Nasdaq: FRPT) 16% HIGHER; Received a $115M order for an additional 174 Cougar Mastiff vehicles, vehicle spare parts, and field support for the UK Ministry of Defense.
The9 Limited (Nasdaq: NCTY) 13% HIGHER; reported Q4 EPS of $0.40 ($0.83 Non-GAAP), versus the consensus of $0.25. Revenues rose 34% QoQ and 50% YoY to $58.1 million, versus the consensus of $51 million.
ReneSola Ltd. (NYSE: SOL) 13% HIGHER; Goldman upgrades to Buy
Roper Industries, Inc. (NYSE: ROP) 12% HIGHER; Announces record Q4 results. Also announced that it has acquired The CBORD Group for a total of $367 million, which includes $23 million in tax benefits over time.
Quidel Corporation (Nasdaq: QDEL) 11% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.25, 2 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.27. Revenues for the quarter were $38 million, versus the consensus of $44.77 million.
Life Time Fitness Inc. (NYSE: LTM) 9% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.48, versus the consensus of $0.48. Revenues came in at $171.1 million, versus the consensus of $171.87 million. Life Time sees 2008 EPS of $2.05-$2.08, versus the consensus of $2.18.
Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: ENDP) 8.6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.52, ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.44. Revenues came in at $$304.6 million versus the consensus of $286 million. The company now estimates its 2008 net sales guidance to be between $1.225 billion and $1.250 billion, up from the previous guidance of $1.215 billion to $1.240 billion. Adjusted EPS are now expected to be between $2.18 and $2.22, up from the prior adjusted diluted EPS guidance of $2.10 to $2.15. The consensus is $1.23 billion and $2.08.
China Digital TV Holding Co. Ltd (NYSE: STV) 6% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.23, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Revenues for the quarter were $19.7 million, versus the consensus of $17 million. China Digital TV sees Q1 revs of $15-$17 million, versus the consensus of $15.2 million. China Digital TV sees 2008 revs of $79-$84 million, versus the consensus of $79.8 million.
Ruth's Chris Steak House, Inc. (Nasdaq: RUTH) 5% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.18, 2 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.20. Revenues for the quarter were $89 million, versus the consensus of $90.98 million. Sees full year 08 GAAP EPS 55-60 cents.
LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (NYSE: LDK) 4.8% HIGHER; signed an eight-year "Take or Pay" contract to supply multicrystalline solar wafers to Republic of Korea-based Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd (HHI).
Intuit (Nasdaq: INTU) 4% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.40, ex-items, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenues for the quarter were $834.9 million, versus the consensus of $845.56 million.
