Spartan Motors Inc. (Nasdaq: SPAR) 18% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.25, above the consensus of $0.19. Revenues came in at $237.6 million, versus the consensus of $218.06 million. Spartan Motors said its backlog increased 45.8% to $338.4 million.
Amkor Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMKR) 14% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.46, 18 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.28. Revenues for the quarter were $747 million, versus the consensus of $700 million. Q1 EPS 25-29 cents versus consensus of 23 cents.
Allscripts (Nasdaq: MDRX) 13% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.14, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.14. Revenues for the quarter were $73.4 million, versus the consensus of $79.29 million.
NightHawk Radiology Holdings (Nasdaq: NHWK) 11.7% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.26, in-line with the analyst estimate of $0.26. Revenues for the quarter were $42.7 million, versus the consensus of $42.54 million. Sees FY08 EPS of $1.10 to $1.20, versus the consensus of $1.25. The Company announced its CFO and COO are leaving.
Converted Organics (Nasdaq: COIN) 11% LOWER; files to offer up to 750,000 shares, 375,000 Class A warrants and 375,000 class B warrants for holders.
Liz Claiborne Inc. (NYSE: LIZ) 10% LOWER; sees 2007 adj EPS of $1.25 - $1.35 compared to previous adjusted diluted EPS guidance of $1.70 - $1.80. The consensus is $1.73. Liz Claiborne said these estimated results reflect continued weak results in the Partnered Brands segment which includes the brands under strategic review, partially offset by positive performance in the Direct Brands segment. Adjusted diluted EPS for the fourth quarter of 2007 is currently estimated to be in the range of $0.15 - $0.25. Net sales for the fourth quarter of 2007 were approximately $1.211 billion. The consensus is $0.63 and $1.23 billion, respectively
Netgear (Nasdaq: NTGR) 9.5% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.41, 4 cents below analyst estimates of $0.45. Revenues for the quarter were $198.3 million, versus the consensus of $199.39 million. Q1 revenues 201-205 million versus 207.4 million.
Level 3 Communications (Nasdaq: LVLT) 9% LOWER; Morgan Stanley downgrades Level 3 Communications from Equalweight to Underweight.
Stamps.com (Nasdaq: STMP) 9% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.12, 3 cents below analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenues for the quarter were $24.1 million, versus the consensus of $24.86 million. 2008 EPS 60-70 cents versus 70 cents. Full year revenues 80-90 million versus 96.6 million.
The Knot (Nasdaq: KNOT) 8% LOWER; J.P. Morgan downgrades from Overweight to Neutral.
MiddleBrook Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: MBRK) 8% HIGHER; engaged Morgan Stanley as its strategic advisor in connection with the Company's ongoing process to explore strategic alternatives.
Build-A-Bear Workshop Inc. (NYSE: BBW) 8% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.48, $0.57 ex-items, versus the consensus of $0.66. Revenues came in at $147.4 million, versus the consensus of $153.3 million. Sees slower store growth in 2008.
Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) 8% HIGHER; reports Q4 earnings of $0.20 per share, above the consensus of $0.17. Revenues came in at $8.01 billion, versus the consensus of $7.9 billion. Comcast plans to buyback up to $7 billion by the end of 2009. Repurchased $1.25 billion in the 4th quarter. Comcast initiates a quarterly dividend - planned at $0.25 annually. Sees 2008 consolidated revenue growth of 8% to 10%.
Aerogrow International, Inc. (Nasdaq: AERO) 8% HIGHER; reported revenues of approximately $14.6 million, an increase of 201% over the $4.9 million reported for the prior year's quarter. For the quarter ended December 31, 2007, AeroGrow reported a net loss of $1.65 million, or $0.13 per share, as compared to a net loss of $2.9 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
Himax Technologies (Nasdaq: HIMX) 6.8% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.24, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.17. Revenues for the quarter were $267.1 million, versus the consensus of $254.89 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.13 to $0.15, versus the consensus of $0.12
Mohawk Industries Inc. (NYSE: MHK) 5.5% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $1.57, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.54. Revenues for the quarter were $1.81 billion, versus the consensus of $1.82 billion. Sees Q1 EPS in the range of $0.81 to $0.90, versus the consensus of $1.23.
ValueClick, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLK) 5% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.21, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.18. Ingram Micro (NYSE: IM) 4% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.61, ex-gain, versus the analyst estimate of $0.60. Revenues for the quarter were $10 billion, versus the consensus of $9.86 billion. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.36 to $0.40, versus the consensus of $0.44. Q1 revs of $8.75 to $9 billion, versus the consensus of $9.1 billion.
Repsol YPF SA (NYSE: REP) 3% HIGHER; Goldman Sachs upgrades Repsol YPF SA to Buy and added the stock to their Conviction Buy list.
Marriott (NYSE: MAR) 2.6% LOWER; reports Q4 earnings of $0.62 per share, in-line with estimates. Revenues came in at $4.09 billion, versus the consensus of $4.04 billion. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.32-0.36 versus the consensus of $0.41. Sees FY08 EPS of $2.00-$2.10 versus the consensus of $2.13.
