Pierre Heeroma - New Director Group Strategy and Business Development at Boliden
STOCKHOLM--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Regulatory News:
Boliden's (STO: BOL)(TSX: BOL) former Exploration Director, Pierre Heeroma, has been appointed Director Group Strategy and Business Development.
Pierre Heeroma joined Boliden as Exploration Director in 2006 after a career within geology and exploration both in Sweden and abroad. He has spent a large part of his active career working for the French mining company, Cogema AS and its successor Areva NC.
Hans Areback will succeed Pierre Heeroma as Exploration Director for Boliden. Hans Areback, a trained bedrock geologist, has been employed at Boliden since 1997, including, among other positions, as an exploration geologist.
Eva Kaijser, SVP Strategy and Business Development and a member of the Group's management team, has chosen to leave Boliden. Boliden's management would like to extend a warm thank you to Eva for all her hard work during the 11 years she has spent with the Group. As a result of the this, Boliden's Group management will now comprise: Lennart Evrell - President and CEO, Johan Fant - CFO, Marianne Lindholm - SVP Legal Affairs, Jan Mostrom - President Business Area Mines, Svante Nilsson - President Business Area Smelters, Henrik stberg - SVP Human Resources and Sustainability.
