- Reports from the Wall Street Journal, Anheuser-Busch (NYSE: BUD) is in merger talks with Grupo Modelo to fend off InBev bid.
- TRC Capital Corporation today announced that in view of current financial market conditions, TRC has amended the terms of its tender offer for up to 3 million Class B common shares of CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS) and has decreased the offer price payable from $22 to $20.55 per share.
TRC also announced that it has extended its offer until 12:01 a.m. eastern on June 27, 2008, unless further extended.
- Express Scripts, Inc. (Nasdaq: ESRX) reached an agreement to acquire the workers' compensation pharmacy benefit management business of Medical Services Company from private equity firm, Monitor Clipper Partners, for an undisclosed amount.
