- NetManage, Inc. (Nasdaq: NETM) agreed to be acquired by Micro Focus International for $7.20 per share. This represents a premium of approximately 73% over the closing share price of NetManage's common stock on April 30, 2008 of $4.15.
- Infogrames Entertainment S.A. and Atari, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATAR) announced that they have reached a definitive agreement to merge. Under the terms of the merger agreement, Infogrames will acquire the remaining outstanding equity interests of Atari for US$1.68 per share, equivalent to a cash payment of approximately US$11 million. Infogrames is currently the majority shareholder in Atari holding approximately 51.4%.
- Masco Corporation (NYSE: MAS) today announced that it has sold its European based The Heating Group for a price of approximately $155 million to an affiliate of Vaessen Industries.
Combined 2007 net sales of The Heating Group were approximately $177 million.
