- Lifecore Biomedical (Nasdaq: LCBM) entered into a definitive agreement with affiliates of Warburg Pincus, the global private equity firm, to be acquired through a tender offer, followed by a merger, for a price of $17.00 per share in cash.
- PNM Resources (NYSE: PNM) New Mexico utility, PNM, has reached a definitive agreement to sell its natural gas operations to a subsidiary of Continental Energy Systems for $620 million.
In a separate transaction that is conditioned upon the sale of the natural gas operations, PNM Resources will acquire Continental’s regulated Texas electric delivery business for $202.5 million.
- Interactive Corp's (NYSE: IACI) Ticketmaster bought TicketsNow, the country's second-largest site for reselling sports and concert tickets, for $265 million. This means Ticketmaster will now compete head on with eBay (Nasdaq: EBAY) -owned StubHub.
