HIGHER;
- SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) up 1.49% to $113.03. Support for the U.S. dollar undercut by a weak jobs report last Friday, effectively pushing the Fed rate raise out further. - iShares MSCI Japan Index (NYSE: EWJ) up 0.69% to $10.19. The Bank of Japan is going to keep interest rates at the same low levels through 2011. Additionally, the bank may begin to buy debt to combat deflation.

Confidence is coming back as Austria's finance minister, Josef Proell, is urging citizens to help in nationalizing their central bank. THe Austrian government owns 70%, and the other 30% is owned by employer and employee organizations.
LOWER:
- United States Natural Gas (NYSE: UNG) down 5.48% to $9.84. Weather forecasts have milder temperatures moving in for the next three weeks. Both the Commodity Weather Group of Maryland and the National Weather Service are prediciting the same results for the next few weeks.
- SPDR KBW Regional Banking (NYSE: KRE) down 1.21% to $23.28. May be influenced by a recent research note issued by Collins Stewart saying that investors would be better sticking with the larger-cap banking stocks, as there's still a little uncertainty in the regional banking sector.
