Thomas Weisel upgrades Corning (NYSE: GLW) from Marketweight to Overweight. Price target increased from $21 to $24.
Goldman Sachs upgrades Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ: BRCM) from Neutral to Buy and raised their price target to $40.
FBR Research upgrades NIKE (NYSE: NKE) to Outperform. Price target increased from $67 to $84.
Barclays upgrades Avis Budget (NYSE: CAR) from Equalweight to Overweight. Price target increased from $12 to $15.

DOWNGRADES
BofA/Merrill Lynch downgrades Polycom (NASDAQ: PLCM) from Buy to Neutral. Price target increased from $32 to $35.
Goldman Sachs downgrades LSI Corp. (NYSE: LSI) from Buy to Neutral, citing a shift from cyclical recovery to secular growth. The firm maintained their $6.50 price target on the stock. It should be noted that the stock is trading down 1.1% today despite two upgrades, one from Deutsche Bank and one from Kaufman Bros.
Argus downgrades ARIAD Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ARIA) from Buy to Hold.
