Avondale Partners raises CSX (NYSE: CSX) from Market Perform to Market Outperform with a price target of $27.

Stifel Nicolaus lifts Chesapeake Energy (NYSE: CHK) from Hold to Buy with a $29 target.

Raymond James upgrades Nexen Inc. (NYSE: NXY) from Market Perform to Outperform.
