This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week Low:
  • Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) low of $16.24. RIM simply succumbing to market pressures in its drop to a 7.5 year low. That's right, the last time RIM was at this trading level was in May 2004.

  • Diamond Foods, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMND) low of $27.08. Reports have surfaced that Diamond audit committee member and Director Joseph Silveiri committee suicide yesterday. The move comes as Diamond's books have recently come under financial scrutiny.

  • Evergreen Energy Inc. (NYSE: EEE) low of $0.153. Evergreen reported that Stanhill Capital Partners unexpectedly said it was withdrawing its offer and terminating further discussions in connection with any potential transaction for the K-Fuel Business or the share capital of the company. The Special Committee and its financial advisor, Dahlman Rose & Company, LLC are continuing to evaluate strategic alternatives for Evergreen.

  • Frontline Ltd. (NYSE: FRO) low of $2.52. Frontline is continuing lower from yesterday's earnings results and bleak outlook. Today, FBR Capital downgraded shares from Market Perform to Underperform, slicing its price target from $5.50 to $1.50. Jefferies also reduced its target from $5 to $3, keeping a Hold rating on the shares.

  • Alcatel-Lucent, S.A. (NYSE: ALU) low of $1.46. Alcatel is lower again today, following a 14.5 percent close lower on Tuesday, as investor concern is heightened moving forward on looming competition and management issues.
