This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:

• BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. (Nasdaq: BMRN) $51.99. BioMarin saw a nice volume spike earlier in the session, sending shares up to its new annual high. No news was out, though the stock was paused for a time due to volatility.
  
  
• China Auto Logistic Inc. (Nasdaq: CALI) high of $7.48. Large and in charge following Q3 results Wednesday morning. Shares up 380 percent he last two sessions. For more, click here.
  
  
• Hollyfrontier (NYSE: HFC) high of $42.29. Hollyfrontier ripping following Q3 results issued last week. The stock is currently up seven of the last eight sessions.

52-Week Low:

• DryShips, Inc. (Nasdaq: DRYS) low of $1.70. DryShips slipping after reporting a Q3 loss of 9 cents per share, which was wider than expectations. Wells Fargo issued comments on the results, click here for more color.
  
  
• Velti plc (Nasdaq: VELT) low of $4.27. Velti lower after issuing a surprise Q3 loss and guiding Q4 sales below expectations. Jefferies trimmed numbers on the stock today, while Needham & Company downgraded the stock to Hold.
  
  
• Tranzyme Pharma (Nasdaq: TZYM) low of $0.95. Tranzyme slammed over 76 percent after reporting that TZP-102 missed primary endpoints in Phase 2b trials. The results, which evaluated patients who were given a single daily dose of 10 mg of TZP-102, 20 mg of TZP-102 or placebo for 12 weeks indicate the trial did not meet its primary efficacy endpoint.
  
  
• Diamond Foods, Inc. (Nasdaq: DMND) low of $14.50. Diamond hit after issuing a financial update for the first three quarters of 2012. The company reported a loss of 22 cents per share, which compared with analyst estimates calling for EPS of 64 cents. For some analyst commentary, click here.
