This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Netezza Corporation (NYSE: NZ) high of $20.12. Higher today after reporting a Q2 non-GAAP EPS of $0.09, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter was $63.8 million, which compares to the estimate of $53.93 million.

  • Aruba Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARUN) high of $18.58. Reaching a new 52-week high today after reporting a 4 adj-EPS of $0.10, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter was $77.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $73.53 million. Jeffries & Co also increased their price target on the company to $20 per share, while reiterating their Buy rating.

  • ArcSight, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARST) high of $39.74. Began reaching all-time highs late yesterday on rumors that the company could be taken over for $40 per share. No suitors have been named yet.

  • Fortinet Inc. (Nasdaq: FTNT) high of $21.70. Reacting after M&A action in the tech sector. Fortinet provides network and UTM solutions to businesses worldwide.


52-Week Low:

  • Immunogen Inc. (Nasdaq: IMGN) low of $4.96. The company announced today that Roche's (OTCBB: RHHBY) Genentech has received a Refuse to File (RTF) letter from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the accelerated approval of the Biologic License Application (BLA) for trastuzumab-DM1, or T-DM1, submitted in July 2010.

  • Seagate Technology PLC (NYSE: STX) low of $9.84. Took a dip early today as Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) lowers their guidance for Q310 on lower consumer PC sales for the quarter.

  • J. Crew Group, Inc. (NYSE: JCG) low of $30.76. After a tough retail season, J. Crew reports solid Q2 earnings, but lowered their Q3 outlook. The company now sees a Q3 EPS of 55c - 60c, vs. the consensus of 71c. FY10 EPS outlook was lowered from $2.35 - $2.45 to $2.25 - $2.35.
