This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE: WPI) high of $. Watson Pharmaceuticals received final FDA approval on its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for lidocaine topical patch 5%, the generic equivalent to Endo's (Nasdaq: ENDP) Lidoderm. Shares rose 6.6 percent on the session Friday.

  • Eli Lilly & Co. (NYSE: LLY) high of $45.01. Lilly gaining after reporting that solanezumab showed "statistically significant slowing of cognitive decline in patients with mild Alzheimer's disease, but not in patients with moderate Alzheimer's disease." The data comes following two Phase III trials.

  • Catalyst Pharmaceutical Partners Inc. (Nasdaq: CPRX) high of $1.95. Catalyst ramping higher following a Seeking Alpha blog post earlier. Shares moved over 13 percent higher to the new mark Friday.

  • Amazon.com Inc. (Nasdaq: AMZN) high of $246.87. Amazon expanded its licensing deal with NBCUniversal earlier. Content includes episodes of Parks and Recreation, Parenthood, and Friday Night Lights.
52-Week Low:
  • Staples, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLS) low of $10.79. Staples was downgraded by Morgan Stanley earlier, from Overweight to Equalweight.

  • ZBB Energy Corp. (AMEX: ZBB) low of $0.30. ZBB Energy slumping after it announced the appointment of Tony Siebert to the position of Vice President of Sales and Product Marketing. According to the release: "In connection with his appointment, Mr. Siebert was awarded inducement options to purchase a total of 200,000 shares of the Company's common stock. 50,000 of these options will vest based on the achievement of certain performance targets. The remaining 150,000 of these options will vest over three years."
