This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • AuthenTec, Inc. (Nasdaq: AUTH) high of $5.10. AuthenTec continues to move higher following a report yesterday its biometric scanner might be included in the next iPhone. Shares ended up 8.8 percent higher Monday.

  • Pharmacyclics Inc. (Nasdaq: PCYC) high of $34.17. Another stock making a two-day rally after releasing data for three trials of Bruton's tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor, ibrutinib (PCI-32765), for the treatment of patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL).

  • Auxilium Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: AUXL) high of $22.66. Auxilium also moving higher again Tuesday following a 16 percent jump on Monday. Auxilium moved higher on IMPRESS trial data for XIAFLEX. Shares moved 3.4 percent Tuesday to the new mark.
52-Week Low:
  • France Telecom (NYSE: FTE) low of $11.69. France Telecom moving lower following word it might cut its dividend on a squeeze in profit margins.

  • MEMC Electronic Materials (NYSE: WFR) low of $. MEMC said director Robert J. Boehlke is resigning his position. Boehlke cited time constraints in running his own company.
