52-Week High:
  • Vringo (Nasdaq: VRNG) high of $4.63. Vringo has been moving around all day as its Markman hearing over a patent dispute filed against Google (Nasdaq: GOOG), AOL (NYSE:: AOL), and other search engines, is happening today. The lawsuit, filed with Innovate/Protect, is over two patents owned by subsidiary, I/P Engine.

Vringo stands to benefit should Innovate/Protect prevail.

  • AuthenTec, Inc.(Nasdaq: AUTH) high of $4.73. Word out today is that AuthenTec technology will be used in the next Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhone. The rumor has AuthenTec supplying biometric sensor technology for the iPhone to allow users to make safer purchases online.

Shares moved 11.8 percent to their new level Monday.
52-Week Low:
  • Research In Motion (Nasdaq: RIMM) low of $9.57. RIM falling below $10 for the first time since October 2002 due to overall market pressure and lack of support in the stock. Should RIM close below $10, it would be the first time since October 10, 2002.

  • Alcoa, Inc. (NYSE: AA) low of $8.19. Miners lower on macro data Monday. Slowing growth in China, U.S. jobs numbers, and European banking/debt issues continue to plague markets. Many may be on the sidelines ahead of an ECB meeting scheduled for Wednesday and testimony by Fed Chair Ben Bernanke in from a congressional panel on Thursday.

  • Dendreon Corp. (Nasdaq: DNDN) low of $5.69. Dendreon lower on strong data from Johnson & Johnson's (NYSE: JNJ) Zytiga's Phase III trial in prechemotherapy prostate cancer patients. Shares fell 15.8 percent on the session following the presentations by J&J at ASCO over the weekend.
