- CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS) high of $27.72. CBS stock is up 9.8 percent to the new 52-week high today, following solid first-quarter earnings results from the national broadcaster. CBS reported first-quarter EPS of $0.29 on revs of $3.51 billion, beating consensus views calling for EPS of $0.19 and revs of $3.46 billion. CBS also doubled its payout to investors, now at $0.10 per quarter.
- Intel Corporation (Nasdaq: INTC) high of $23.55. Though on a positive uptrend from its first-quarter earnings report on April 19th, Intel unveiled that it will begin high-volume manufacturing of its revolutionary 3-D transistor design called Tri-Gate. The transistors will be used in Intel's chip, "Ivy Bridge."
- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (Nasdaq: GMCR) high of $78.45. Green Mountain had a great quarter, with net income up 147 percent and sales up 101 percent. The Company reported that 82 percent of its revs came from the Keurig brewing system and its K-Cup, which nearly doubled in sales as well. Looking ahead, Green Mountain increased its FY11 EPS outlook from $1.19 - $1.29 to $1.43 - $1.50, besting views calling for EPS of $1.22.
- ValueClick, Inc. (Nasdaq: VCLK) high of $19.73. Another earnings story here. ValueClick reported first quarter EPS of $0.26 on revs of $116.5 million, versus consensus EPS of $0.18 and revs of $113.66 million. ValueClick sees second quarter EPS of $0.25 - $0.26 and revs of $120 - $122 million, versus consensus EPS of $0.20 and revs of $119.78 million. Shares were also upgraded at Jefferies, Needham and Merriman Curhan.
- Anadigics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ANAD) low of $2.94. Anadigics received a downgrade at Raymond James, from Market Perform to Underperform. Shares down over 8 percent to the new low today. Shares are trading at possibly the lowest point in nearly two years.
- Republic Airways (Nasdaq: RJET) low of $4.70. Raymond James lowered Republic Airways from Market Perform to Underperform. Shares down over 10 percent on the day. Surprisingly, the stock didn't move that much following mixed first-quarter results on Tuesday.
- Gerdau S.A. (NYSE: GGB) low of $11.11. Gerdau has been on a downward trend following its earnings report in early March. Input costs have clipped margins on many metal producers. Gerdau shares are 20 percent lower since early March.
