Notable 52-Week Highs and Lows of the Day :

This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Seagate Technology PLC (Nasdaq: STX) high of $32.56. Seagate is moving higher on the heels of better than expected manufacturing data in the U.S., along with many of its peers. Shares moved as much as 5.8 percent to the new mark.

    Others seeing some upside on the session include Western Digital (NYSE: WDC) -- though Western Digital fell just pennies shy of a new high itself -- and Hutchinson Technology (Nasdaq: HTCH).

  • Intel Corp (Nasdaq: INTC) high of $29.04. Intel also moving right along with manufacturing data. As a refresher, the ISM Index for April came in at 54.8, from 53.4 last month. The index was expected to drop down to 53.0.

  • Sourcefire, Inc. (Nasdaq: FIRE) high of $58.00. Sourcefire reported first-quarter earnings of 11 cents on revs of $46.3 million, besting views calling for EPS of 8 cents and revs of $41.6 million. Looking ahead, the company sees second-quarter earnings of 12 cents to 14 cents on revs of $46.5 million to $48.5 million, compared with expectations calling for EPS of 13 cents and revs of $46.5 million.

    Sourcefire moved about 13.8 to its new mark.

  • Marsh & McLennan Cos. (NYSE: MMC) high of $34.68. Marsh & McLennan reported first-quarter earnings of 63 cents per share with revenue of $3.05 billion, besting views calling for EPS of 61 cents and revs of $3.04 billion. Investors drove shares nearly 4 percent higher to its new mark Tuesday.
52-Week Low:
  • Savient Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: SVNT) low of $1.42. Savient slipped midday Tuesday following an 8-K filing with the U.S. SEC disclosing it was served with a creditor derivative action. The complaint was filed by Tang Capital.

  • Meru Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: MERU) low of $2.26. Meru reported a first-quarter loss of 50 cents per share on revenue of $19.4 million, compared with expectations calling for a loss of 51 cents per share and revs of about $19.6 million. In the release, CEO Bami Bastani said, "I have been conducting deep reviews of our business and have initiated actions designed to enable smooth handling of our growth, both in products and services, and the customers we serve. These actions include enhancements to existing systems and adjusting our current cost structure and planned expenditures to more closely align with our near term revenue expectations."

  • Leap Wireless International Inc. (Nasdaq: LEAP) low of $. Leap continuing lower from its quarter miss last week. Yesterday, Barclays issued a note highlighting how major carriers like Verizon (NYSE: VZ) and AT&T (NYSE: T) were taking market share from Leap and Metro PCS (NYSE: PCS), whom largely rely on prepaid subscribers for growth.
