- Aruba Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARUN) high of $31.65. Higher following their second quarter 2011 earnings report which showed an EPS of $0.14 on revs of $93.9 million, topping views calling for EPS of $0.13 and revs of $87.8 million. Guided to a Q311 adjusted EPS of $0.14 - $0.15, versus the consensus of $0.14.
- Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq: INTU) high of $54.68. Trading stronger today following second quarter earnings results. Reports EPS of $0.32 with revs of $893.63 million, which was mixed to the consensus. However, guided Q311 EPS of $2.22 - $2.30 on revs of $1.76 - $1.83 billion, compared to the consensus EPS of $2.22 on revs of $1.82 billion.
- XL Group plc (NYSE: XL) high of $24.35. Higher today after announcing that two of its Bermuda-based subsidiaries, XL Insurance (Bermuda) Ltd. and XL Re Ltd., have received approval from the New York Insurance Department to qualify for reduced collateral status in the state of New York pursuant to requirements set forth by New York insurance regulation.
- CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS) high of $23.10. Running right along with the market today, CBS is continuing higher following their fourth quarter earnings report on Wednesday. Shares were boosted by positive Comcast (Nasdaq: CMCSA) earnings yesterday along with a slew of analyst calls.
- Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: ACOR) low of $20.69. Continuing lower today as Piper Jaffray downgraded the shares from Neutral to Underweight, with a price target sliced from $24 to $16 following Acorda's fourth quarter results.
