This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
- J. C. Penney Company, Inc. (NYSE: JCP) high of $41.00. JCPenney moving to a new high today in part on it's new long-term outlook and expectations for fiscal 2012 earnings to be at or above those realized in 2010. For more color on the outlook, click here. JCPenney shares moved nearly 20 percent to the new mark Thursday.
- LSI Corporation (NYSE: LSI) high of $7.99. LSI Corp0 is moving higher following fourth-quarter numbers, which saw the company report earnings of 13 cents on revenue of $523 million, mixed to view calling for earnings of 10 cents per share and revenue of $526.5 million. For the first-quarter, LSI sees EPS of 9 cents to 15 cents, versus consensus views of 10 cents. Revs should be $550 million to $590 million, well above expectations for $509.8 million.
- Parametric Technology Corp. (Nasdaq: PMTC) high of $26.48. Parametric Tech reported first-quarter EPS of 35 cents and revs of $319.8 million, both beating views. The company sees second-quarter EPS of 32 cents to 36 cents and revenue of $305 million to $320 million, versus views calling for EPS of 33 cents and revs of $316.2 million.
Fiscal 2012 EPS should be about $1.58 to $1.62 and revs of $1.31 billion to $1.33 billion, with earnings to the strong-side of views calling for $1.49.
- United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI) high of $38.62. United Rentals moving higher following earnings. The company reported fourth-quarter EPS of 82 cents, which was 24 cents better than the analyst estimate of 58 cents. Revenue for the quarter came in at $746 million versus the consensus estimate of $687.89 million.
- GMX Resources Inc. (Nasdaq: GMXR) low of $1.01. GMX lower after filing to sell up to 3,877,254 shares of Common Stock on behalf of Selling Shareholders. Shares were down as much as 13 percent on the session.
- Quicksilver Resources Inc. (NYSE: KWK) low of $5.07. Quicksilver is another casualty of lower natural gas prices. Shares have trickled lower all day following EIA reports that were initially positive, but stockpiles are still well-above one- and five-year highs. For more color, click here.
- Frontier Communications Corporation (NYSE: FTR) low of $4.47. Frontier taking another hit as AT&T (NYSE: T) reported wireline metrics today. Frontier initially dropped following Verizon (NYSE: VZ) results earlier in the week, and today's AT&T data show further wireline revs fell 1.4 percent, compared to just a 0.2 percent drop in expenses. On a positive note, Frontier's juicy dividend -- of 75 cents annually -- is now yielding 16.8 percent.
