This report is an intraday check of some of the more notable stocks that have hit a 52-week high or low so far today.

52-Week High:
  • Flowers Foods (NYSE: FLO) high of $26.97. Flowers anounced plans to acquire certain Hostess assets for $360 million. The company will also acquire the Beefsteak brand for about $30 million. Click here for more color.

  • QUicksilver (NYSE: ZQK) high of $5.85. Quicksilver is higher as VF Corp (NYSE: VFC) made a bid to acquire clothier Billabong.

  • Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) high of $274.26. Amazon to another new high Monday after a positive write-up in the WSJ over its potential in the cloud-computing realm.
52-Week Low:
  • Bazaarvoice, Inc. (Nasdaq: BV) low of $6.48. Bazaarvoice still ailing from the U.S. DoJ decision last week. Even the appointment of industry vet Ari Paparo as marketing lead couldn't stem the trend today.

  • ITT Educational Services (NYSE: ESI) low of $14.13. Private education stocks appear to be pressured once again today. Last week, Apollo Group (Nasdaq: APOL) reported first-quarter 2013 results, which showed a continued drop of new and current enrollees.
