52-Week High:
  • TIBCO Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: TIBX) high of $12.75. The company reports a Q2 adj-EPS of $0.15, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.13. Revenue for the quarter was $173.3 million, which compares to the estimate of $161.35 million.

  • American Italian Pasta Company (Nasdaq: AIPC) high of $52.87. Continuing higher after the announcement earlier in the week of being acquired by Ralcorp Holdings Inc. (NYSE: RAH) at $53 per share.
52-Week Low:
  • BP p.l.c. (NYSE: BP) low of $27.07. Shares lower today as the company updated details about the Gulf oil spill. They said that total costs to-date were about $2.35 billion.

  • Research In Motion Ltd. (Nasdaq: RIMM) low of $53.00. Investors are selling today despite reporting a Q1 EPS of $1.38, 4 cents better than the analyst estimate of $1.34. Revenue for the quarter was $4.24 billion, which compares to the estimate of $4.35 billion. Announces a buyback of up to 31 million shares. Sees Q2 EPS of $1.33-$1.40 on sales of $4.4-$4.6 billion.

  • Banner Corporation (Nasdaq: BANR) low of $1.99. The company announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 75,000,000 shares of the Company's common stock at a price to the public of $2.00 per share for gross proceeds of $150.00 million.

  • FuelCell Energy Inc. (Nasdaq: FCEL) low of $1.17. Announced today that it has priced an underwritten public offering of 24,000,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $1.25 per share for gross proceeds of approximately $30.0 million.

  • Palatin Technologies Inc. (AMEX: PTN) low of $0.17. The company announced today that it has entered into definitive agreements with certain accredited investors to sell in a registered direct offering 10.0 million units at a price of $0.20 per unit for gross proceeds of $2.0 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other offering expenses. Each unit will consist of one share of common stock and a warrant exercisable upon issuance and expiring one year after issuance to purchase 0.14 of one share of common stock at an exercise price of $0.20 per share of common stock.
