Sunrise Senior Living Inc. (NYSE: SRZ) 33% HIGHER; announces revamped relationship with HCP to terminate contracts on 27 of the 75 senior housing communities. HCP will pay Sunrise $50 million. Also litigation proceeding were dismissed.
American Physicians Service Group Inc. (Nasdaq: AMPH) 22% HIGHER; Acquired by ProAssurance (NYSE: PRA) for $32.50 per share in cash.
G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (Nasdaq: GIII) 14.5% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.15, 17 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter was $189 million, which compares to the estimate of $161.86 million. Sees FY EPS of $2.60-$2.70, versus the consensus of $2.33. Sees FY sales of $1 billion, versus the consensus of $945.2 million.
Jos. A. Bank (Nasdaq: JOSB) 12.3% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.59, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.53. Revenue for the quarter was $188.4 million, which compares to the estimate of $181.25 million.

Burger King Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BKC) 8.8% HIGHER; Reports private equity firms interested in a takeover of the company. The private equity firm mentioned 3i Group denied the reports, pushing shares off the highs.
