Bionovo, Inc. (Nasdaq: BNVI) 93.8% HIGHER; today announced positive results from the Phase 1B clinical trial of Bezielle (formerly BZL101), their lead drug candidate for advanced breast cancer. WPT Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: WPTE) 29.5% LOWER; today announced that Gamynia Limited, a company which forms part of a privately held investment group with substantial holdings in a range of diversified assets, has agreed to acquire substantially all of the Company's operating assets other than cash, investments and certain excluded assets. Gamynia will pay the Company $9,075,000 plus a percentage of future revenues earned by Gamynia from the World Poker Tour(R) and Professional Poker Tour(R) brands. Click here for the full report.

The Phoenix Companies, Inc. (NYSE: PNX) 24.9% LOWER; eports Q2 EPS of $0.12, ex-items, 3 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.09. Revenue for the quarter was $525.7 million, versus the consensus of $564.72 million.

LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc. (NYSE: LF) 15.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.19 versus the analyst estimate of ($0.34). Revenue for the quarter was $49.4 million, versus the consensus of $41.60 million. Sees Q3 sales to be between $100 and $120 million versus $120M consensus.

EnPro Industries (NYSE: NPO) 15.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.47, ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.29. Revenue for the quarter was $235.3 million, versus the consensus of $237.90 million.

RiskMetrics Group Inc. (NYSE: RMG) 15.3% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.18, ex-items, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter was $75.5 million, versus the consensus of $77.33 million.

Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ANPI) 14.9% HIGHER; today announced the launch of a series of new, proprietary Quill(TM) SRS product codes specifically designed for laparoscopic, or minimally invasive, gynecology procedures, including hysterectomies and myomectomies. In 2008, there were approximately 750,000 hysterectomies performed in the United States of which approximately 130,000 were performed laparoscopically. In addition, there were approximately 72,000 myomectomies performed in the United States to remove uterine fibroid tumors. LookSmart Ltd. (Nasdaq: LOOK) 13.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 loss of $0.08 versus the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter was $13.2 million, versus the consensus of $12.60 million.

PRG-Schultz International, Inc. (Nasdaq: PRGX) 13.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 GAAP EPS of $0.22, versus the analyst estimate of $0.12. Revenue for the quarter was $45.5 million, versus the consensus of $41.97 million.

Pantry Inc. (Nasdaq: PTRY) 13% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of breakeven, which may not compare to the analyst estimate of $0.45. Revenue for the quarter was $1.63 billion, versus the consensus of $1.63 billion. Sees 2009 merchandise revenues of $1.65-$1.66 billion and retail gasoline sales of $2.06-$2.07 billion. Shares of PTRY are down 12% this AM.

Georgia Gulf (NYSE: GGC) 12.4% HIGHER; since announcing an easing on its debt exchange and covenants on Thursday of last week, shares have jumped more than 280%, and are continuing higher today.

TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. (NYSE: TRW) 12% HIGHER; reports Q2 adj-EPS of $0.08, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.83). Revenue for the quarter was $2.7 billion, versus the consensus of $2.56 billion. Sees Q3 sales of about $2.8 billion. The Street is currently looking for Q3 revs of $2.71 billion. Sees FY09 production of 8 million units in North America and 16.4 million units in Europe. Sees FY09 sales of $10.5-$10.9 billion, versus the consensus of $10.59 billion.

Knology, Inc. (Nasdaq: KNOL) 11.9% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.08, ex-items, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter was $107.9 million, versus the consensus of $105.66 million.

Wright Medical Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: WMGI) 11.8% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.18, ex-items, 5 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.13 and compared to EPS of $0.19 in the same quarter last year. Revenue for the quarter was $118.9 million, versus the consensus of $123.06 million. Sees Q3 sales of $111-$115 million and adj-EPS of $0.13-$0.16. The Street is currently looking for sales and EPS of $119.68 million and $0.15, respectively. Lowers its FY09 sales guidance from $500-$510 million to $475-$485 million, versus the consensus of $497.18 million. EPS for the year moves from $0.85-$0.92 to $0.78-$0.85, which compares to the Street estimate of $0.67.

Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE: HLF) 11.8% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.78, 6 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.72. Revenue for the quarter was $571.8 million, versus the consensus of $549.67 million. Sees Q3 EPS 66c to 69c versus which may not compare to 81 cents consensus. Sees FY09 EPS $2.97 to $3.03 which may not compare to $2.98.

Parkway Properties, Inc. (NYSE: PKY) 11.1% HIGHER; reports Q2 FFO of $0.86, 12 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.74. Also upgraded to Buy at KeyBanc.

Cedar Fair Entertainment Company (NYSE: FUN) 10.2% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.13, versus the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenue for the quarter was $264.1 million, versus the consensus of $282.76 million.

STEC, Inc. (Nasdaq: STEC) 10.1% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.42, versus the analyst estimate of $0.34. Revenue for the quarter was $86.4 million, versus the consensus of $83.28 million. Sees Q3 EPS of $0.45-$0.47, versus the consensus of $0.39, and revs of $95-$97 million, versus the Street estimate of $95.8 million. The company also announced a secondary offering of 7.5 million shares. The stock was also downgraded to Hold at CapStone Equity.

WMS Industries Inc. (NYSE: WMS) 9.9% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.49, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.47. Revenue for the quarter was $195.8 million, versus the consensus of $196.6 million. Sees FY10 sales $760 to $780M versus consensus $752.7M. Raises buyback to $150M. The stock was also upgraded to Overweight at JPMorgan and reiterated at Buy at Morgan Joseph.

Carrols Restaurant Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: TAST) 9.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.32, 14 cents better than estimates. Revenues were $203.9 million vs. $207.14 million consensus.

PPL Corporation (NYSE: PPL) 9.3% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.32, ex-items, 8 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.40. Revenue for the quarter was $1.67 billion, versus the consensus of $1.69 billion. Reaffirms its FY09 forecast. Lowers its FY10 EPS guidance from $3.60-$4.20 to $3.10-$3.50, which compares to the Street estimate of $3.65.

Atmel Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML) 9.1% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.00, 5 cents better thanthe analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter was $285 million,versus the consensus of $279.31 million. The Company noted that while visibility remains limited, it anticipates third quarter 2009 revenues will increase 4% to 8% on a sequential basis. Goldman also downgraded the stock to Neutral.

Skilled Healthcare (NYSE: SKH) 8.6% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.25 compared to $0.22 a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter was $193.4 million, versus the consensus of $180.35 million. Sees FY09 revs to be between $765M to $775M versus consensus $733.33M. Sees FY09 EPS to be between $0.95 to $1.01.
