Willdan Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: WLDN) 46.8% HIGHER; announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Willdan Energy Solutions (WES), was awarded a $67 million contract with Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc., (Con Edison), a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc. (NYSE: ED), to implement Con Edison's new energy efficiency program for small business customers. The initial contract work will commence in the current quarter, with most of the work scheduled to be completed by the end of 2011.

Tuesday Morning Corp. (Nasdaq: TUES) 27% HIGHER; reports Q4 loss of $0.04, 1 cent better than the analyst estimate of ($0.05). Revenue for the quarter was $188.7 million, versus the consensus of $189 million. Quarterly comps fell 6.6%. Sees Fy10 loss of $0.02 to a gain of $0.02. The Street is expecting a yearly loss of $0.37. Sees FY10 sales of $795-$805 million, versus the consensus of $745.45 million. Sees FY10 same store sales negative low single digits.

Fannie Mae (NYSE: FNM) 11.8% HIGHER; shares of the bailed-out momo plays are continuing higher once again today. Shares of Fannie surged more than 41% yesterday. Over the last 3 trading sessions, shares of Fannie have jumped about 70%.

AAR Corp. (NYSE: AIR) 10.4% LOWER; sees Q1 EPS of $0.23-$0.27, versus the consensus of $0.41, on sales of $330-$345 million, which compares to the Street estimate of $353.66 million.

Corinthian Colleges Inc. (Nasdaq: COCO) 10.2% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.31, ex-items, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.24. Revenue for the quarter was $353.3 million, versus the consensus of $342.86 million. Sees Q1 EPS of $0.26-$0.29, on sales of $375-$385 million. The Street is currently expecting Q1 EPS and sales of $17 and $348.77 million, respectively. Sees Q1 student start growth of 15-17%. Sees FY10 EPS of $1.30-$1.36, versus the consensus of $1.14, on sales of $1.58-$1.6 billion, which compares to the Street estimate of $1.51 billion. Sees yearly student start growth of 10-12%.

Human Genome Sciences (Nasdaq: HGSI) 9.9% HIGHER; an article in the Daily Telegraph discussed yesterday's rumors that GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE: GSK) could be interested in Human Genome. According to the article, GSK could offer Human Genome as much as $30 per share.

WPT Enterprises, Inc. (Nasdaq: WPTE) 9.5% HIGHER; last night announced that a subsidiary of PartyGaming Plc, Peerless Media Ltd., has agreed to purchase substantially all of WPTE's operating assets other than cash, investments and certain excluded assets. Peerless Media will pay WPTE $12.3 million and will pay WPTE an ongoing 5% participation in gaming and other revenues generated by the assets.

American Woodmark Corporation (Nasdaq: AMWD) 9.5% LOWER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.34 vs. consensus for an $0.11 loss. Revenues were $100.8 million vs. $120.57 million consensus. Net sales declined 28% compared with the first quarter of the prior fiscal year to $100,835,000. The Company experienced sales declines of more than 20% in both its remodeling and new construction sales channels.

ZOLL Medical Corporation (Nasdaq: ZOLL) 8.4% HIGHER; has received approval from the FDA to market and sell a new model of the LifeVest(R) wearable defibrillator. Click here for the full report.

Vimicro International Corporation (Nasdaq: VIMC) 8% HIGHER; reports a Q2 GAAP loss of $0.24 vs. consensus for $0.10 loss - only 1 analyst covers stock. Net revenue in the second quarter was $18.7 million vs. $18.50 million consensus. For the third quarter of 2009, Vimicro expects revenue to range between $18 million and $20 million. (Consensus is $19.50M)

Accuray Incorporated (Nasdaq: ARAY) 7.1% LOWER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.02, 1 cent lower than the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenue for the quarter was $58.8 million, versus the consensus of $56.88 million. Sees Q1 sales of $40-$50 million, versus the Street estimate of $59.26 million. Sees Fy10 sales of $215-$230 million, versus the consensus of $237.92 million.

Daktronics Inc. (Nasdaq: DAKT) 5.5% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.03, 2 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter was $113.5 million, versus the consensus of $119.39 million.

China Nepstar Chain Drugstore (NYSE: NPD) 5.4% LOWER; Roth Capital downgrades from Hold to Sell. The firm has a $4 price target on the stock.
